The event

**** 6 months later*****

"Come on Aurora" Jake yelled down the hallway "everyone is ready to go."

"just a minute" I holler back. I finish jamming my clothes for the week into my suitcase and grab my carry-on bag and start running down the hallway. We are going to the annual Alpha meeting with the king and every Alpha and his choice of guest is mandatory to attend, others are also welcome for the after party just not the meeting. Some bring their Lunas other bring their top warrior to look intimidating. Aurora and I not only hold the title of top warrior in the pack, but I am also a chosen and not born werewolf. Over the months here I have trained I excelled first in werewolf form then human.

This is the most important event of the year I had to get specially fitted clothes to wear for every aspect of the trip. Also, when we get there I will have to get my makeup and hair done, Dom has been telling me a bunch of rules and edict I need to remember when I attend the meeting. It is a lot of pressure everyone acts like they are the best and they must look the part too. In addition, there will be a lot of specific heat on me because many don't believe I wasn't born a werewolf and my story is a lie.

I run down the stairs Dom is waiting for me in the car, I give Jake a hug goodbye as he is looking over the pack when Dominic's gone.

"what took you so long" Dom said through his teeth slamming on the gas as soon as my door shut.

"packing" I respond with a growl

"remember we have to look as intimidating as possible and as a warrior you may be called upon to defend me, plus you will be a topic of conversation try not to take it personally but if the disrespect you let them know you won't be taking it" Dominic said

"I know, do you really think I will let someone disrespect you or me" I say annoyed

"I don't you think you will know they disrespected us" he said. His shaggy black hair is sprayed back reveling his tan muscular harden face. His eyes never seem to soften but his tell sign is his lips they give away his emotions every time, he is in Alpha mode all week.

After a stressful drive we reach a small airport with our packs jet. Many pack members of the mate-less title will be joining us on the trip to Scotland where King Drayton resides. He moves our luggage into the underbelly of the plane, besides our carry-ons. Its packed but there is a seat for the Alpha and I in the center of the plane. Within five minutes of us getting there he sent the order to take off. It was a seven-hour flight to Edinburgh. It was a beautiful day outside it was miserable to sit inside a plane with the cold air conditioning freezing us out instead of the gentle breeze.

Everyone on the plane was already in their best, many young wolves my age chattered away with each other Dominic and I just silently occasionally copying each other's grunts and sighs.

Six hours later it was time to get ready. I go to the bathroom and strip my sweatshirt and leggings off. I slide on a tight black dress it has short sleeves and a turtle neck it goes down to my mid calves, but each side has a section cut out going to my mid-thigh. I walk out a couple girls help me put on a gold ribbon legging mix. It was a very Asian style outfit. I walk over to Dominic's mom Lauren, she starts my makeup, while another woman starts on my hair. I can feel her braid my hair in multiple ways. The makeup was all very clean and simple till they brought the paint out. I stood still as the took gold paint and drew a line from my lips down my throat stopping at my dress. Next, they took a light and dark blue and alternated above and below my eyes playing with my eye color. Next, they took my hands and dipped it in the gold paint, an even line across my figure tips, next they dipped my whole foot in the paint.
