***** Nicole's POV******

I finally emptied everything out of my stomach I'm absolutely exhausted my whole body aches.  "it's just because I have to re adapt to human life" aurora says.  I start feeling home sick I wish I was back in the woods.  "Why do I have to go with them when can I be a wolf again aurora"
"They will teach you to control your shifting"
"Why do I have too" I whine
"Because the world those men live in is become unstable it's your destiny to fix it"
"How do I do that exactly ?"
"We show them our strength and the way of the wolf many are lost in a power struggle without realizing what they are doing" aurora says

I return back to my rug on the fireplace. Jake brings me a water bottle, Pillow and blanket. "Thank you" I try to say it still comes out as gibberish but i think he got the message. He was very nice and held all my hair out of my face when I threw up. I don't think my stomachs likes human food. After their long journey and my transformation everyone seemed exhausted and was ok with an early bedtime. I closed my eyes and let sleep come.

The fire was getting low it must have been the middle of the night when there was creak my whole body stiffens. I hear a door open I readjust my self to get a better look at the man awake at this hour. I peak out I can't tell who it is. I watch them silently walk past the bathroom now putting me on high alert. He goes straight to the Alphas bedroom but I know it isn't the Alpha going into his room.

I silently rise and slide against the wall as the man enters the room disappearing behind the door. I crouch down and peak behind the door. It's Cameron he is holding a knife in his hand. He moves almost soundlessly to the Alphas bed. The alpha so innocently asleep. Before Cameron raised his arm above his head I tackle him. I pin him down easily as he was caught off guard. I clench his windpipe in between my sharpened nails with a growl. The alpha is awake and pissed the whole house is alive I hear shuffling in the other rooms. Beta Jake runs in he is frantic. Cameron tries to push me off but I firmly stay in place sending a low warning growl. He doesn't dare reach for the knife that lays a foot away.

Aurora wants to crush the weak mutt who decided to attempt to take the alpha position for himself. If you take the title of Alpha you must fight an honorable battle.

"Get rid of him" The alpha snapped towards Jake. I know the order wasn't at me but I'm not helpless.

In one swift movement I crush his throat digging my fingertips around the back of it. Then I rip my arm back tearing out his throat out. I rise from his convulsing body and drop the chunk of his windpipe at the Alphas feet before brushing past him. Jake looked at me with a harden face no emotion was shown. The relaxed vibe in the air changed to serious setting. I go back to my spot near the fire and lay down.  I pay no mind to the blood on my hand. The house continues to stir people going in and out of the doors. I have feeling we are leaving now. I liked this cabin I lived in one like this before I left it is just so homey.

"Time to go" Jake said tossing me a coat breaking me out of my thoughts. I slide the black coat on it is a size too big so I leave it unzipped to advisor looking like a marshmallow. The blood has dried to crusty peel on my hand as I scrub it, it flakes off. I walk out the door through the snow to the car. I sit in the seat behind the driver.  I wipe all the snow off my bare feet before shutting the suv doors.  The black SUV's leather seats were frozen against my warm body. Within ten minutes the car was full of stuff and another suv emerges taking Scar and Luke while Jake and the Alpha Dominic road in the car I was in.

Alpha Dominic tried to start the car I really needed the heat on I was freezing. My body wasn't used to the cold I was protected by my fur and if we did everyone would lay together to keep the heat in. But it wouldn't turn on. "Why won't this piece of junk work" the Alpha roared. I had a feeling I know why.
You need the special motor to keep your motor oil from freezing in these temperatures. "Frozen oil" I tried to say
"What ?" Dominic said "I don't have time to play twenty fucking questions!"
"Frozen ...Oil" I try again with anger in my voice
"Frozen oil! It's the motor oil isn't" Jake said with a sigh. The Alpha punches the steering wheel sending a Chunk of plastic flying.

They fix the motor up and within twenty minutes we are ready to go. We were stuck sitting in the Frozen car so I climbed over the back seat and sat on the Alphas lap and cuddle close. He tried to push me away clearly in a bad mood from the attempt on his life. But I sent out a I'm not going anyway growl. I'm freezing and he is the warmest thing in the car.  Once the motor and more importantly the heat came on I moved back to the back row and we started driving back to civilization.

We drive for a half an hour before joining the AlCan. There isn't many roads in Alaska I recognize  where I am right away in a half an hour we will be in Fairbanks. I watch the forest zoom past it makes me sad this could be the last time I see my home. I roll down my window and lean my head out. I let a long sad howl out. Goodbye my old friend. Aurora was also sad to be leaving making the feeling of sadness so overwhelming. I start bawling my eyes out. The men just stayed silent in the front seat but I could feel their constant glances back to me as they sat on the edge of their seat full of uneasiness.
