Chpt. 3

A/N ~ I'm so sorry that I haven't updated I feel so bad. I've been going through some personal things and I feel horrible that I haven't updated in a while but here's a couple chapters I hope this makes up for my absence.  Up above are the twins that are Nova's mates.  

Nova P.O.V.

"Moonstone Hounds." A smile graces my face as I speak that name. "Is that a name for our group because I like it." Axel says which makes me smile even wider. " I like it what about you Jenny??" "Well Ben baby if you like it I like it too. Aaliyah, Theo, and Luka what do you guys think??" "Me and Theo like it Jenny. Luka?" " I love it." Luka looked at me and gave me a goofy grin which made me giggle. We walk into some stores but Luka and I break off the group to go to GameStop to look at some video games. I found Mario Cart Nintendo switch fuck yea, I buy it and we head out. My stomach decided it was a good time to growl. "Welp looks like I'm hungry, I guess I'll meet back up with you after I eat something." Luka looked at me confused. " You think I'm going to let you eat by yourself, think again because your wrong." He said and smiled at me. "I'll buy us something to eat and then we'll go find our friends."

"I bet Axel, Theo, and Ben are dieing right now because the girls are dragging them from store to store to look at clothes." I chuckled. As we we're walking I couldn't stop thinking about the other night. Why did I act like that, why was he there. I was so confused. 'Because you still like him whether you like it or not' Ember said I would assume a little mad because of what happened. Believe it or not me and Shane used to be unseprerable he was the only other person other than my mother who I trusted the most, but soon after he found out I was part witch he turned cold. He would still hang out with me but he would push me around and make me feel fear every time he came around. I'll tell you right now, when Shane comes around it means bad news. I actually thought at one time that I loved him, but I was wrong, so terribly wrong. Shane used to be the sweetest, he would cheer me up when I was down and he would buy me ice cream after a heart break. I actually asked him to go on a date with me, he rejected me right away.

It was only because he didn't want us to end badly and not be friends again but that was before he went cold. 'He's here for something I know he is. We both know him very well and we both know he's here for something and it's nothing good. ' Ember commented bringing me out of my thoughts. I looked at my surroundings, shit I got separated from Luka. I sniffed the air for Luka's scent, I caught on to his scent. It's a nice manly smell like the men body wash smell. Anyways I followed it until I got to a small little shop called Sweet's & Treats  it looked adorable. I walked in and instantly regretted it. Luka was standing there talking to Britt and Shane. ' Are you fucking kidding me, do you see what I see right now Nove'  Ember's kinda mad. My body doesn't listen to my mind, I walk slowly. I notice that Shane's gaze shifts towards me. I feel like I'm in a movie and it's like that slow motion walking scene. I get this spark of confidence inside me and I walk faster.

As I walk I notice that Luka turns around, when he sees me he smiles and meets me in the middle with a hug. I hug him back and let his scent envelope me. I swear if a new perfume came out and it smelled like this I would be the first one to buy it I love this smell. "I thought I lost you, one second you were there the next you were gone." "Sorry Luka, I was lost in my own thoughts." I look down after our hug ends, my eyes turning a medium dark pink as a light blush creeps onto my face. Luka chuckles and loosely places his arm around my shoulder. " I was just talking to Shane here about how long he's known Britt." Luka says " Oh, that sounds nice but we should get going the others are probably wondering where we are and I really want to play that game that we got." I said while I jumped up and down. Luka smiles as my eyes start to turn a little yellow. "Would you mind if we tagged along??" that all to familiar voice asked.
