Nova Rose

Chpt. 5

Nova P.O.V. 

I woke up to an annoying sound. 'Bleep, Bleep, Bleep' "For fucks sake turn it off." I mumbled as I turned to alarm onto snooze and rolled into a hard chest. My hand instinctively ran down the chest feeling an amazing 6 pack. It was so defined and nice. "Fuck, don't make me hard this early in the morning Nova. Please."  An all to familiar yet husky morning voice said. "Jared?" I don't bother to open my eyes. "What." Fuck it is Jared. Everything from yesterday comes rushing back now that I'm fully awake. I jump back off the bed gracefully landing on my ass. "Shit, my ass hurts now." I whine. Jared starts laughing, he gets out of the bed and helps me get up. "You up to going to school today??" "Are you fucking with me right now?" "Should I be??" Jared wiggles his eyebrows. I roll my eyes "You're so weird sometimes." I turn around and grab one of Jared's shirts. I make sure to sway my hips on the way to the bathroom to tease Jared.

"You're such a tease Nova." Jared yells as I close the bathroom door. I chuckle to myself and turn music on. I strip out of my gross clothes and hop in the shower. I sing to Sober Up by AJR . 

"Won't you help me sober up
All the big kids they are drunk
And I want to feel something again

How's it go again? "

I sing at the top of my lungs into the shampoo bottle. I lather my loofah with Jared's body wash and it smells really good. I rub it all over my body and rinse it off. I shave my legs and do my other business when I'm done I grab a fluffy towel dry off and put Jared's shirt on. I walk out of the bathroom with my dirty clothes. "Do you have a dryer and washer?" "Uh ya downstairs in the laundry matt." Jared says with a smug look on his face. "Well fuck, I guess I'll have to go down there in just your shirt and nothing else." I say sarcastically. I turn around and leave his apartment, I walk down the stairs and walk into the little laundry matt. At the bottom of the building. I walk in to see the disgusting man behind the counter staring at me with lust.

I walk over to a washing machine and put my clothes in. When my clothes are both done washing and drying I leave only to be stopped by the man behind the counter. "Hey, I was wondering--" "No." I cut him off and leave. I get back into Jared's apartment room. I see Jared playing Guitar Hero in his underwear on his bed with socks on. "What the hell?" I ask confused. Jared freezes, pauses the game and turns to me with a face of full shock. "I forgot you were here." He clears his throat and gets off his bed. I skipped a whole week of school after that just hanging with Jared going places and playing video games. We ate takeout almost every night. It was great, we talked, goofed off, and did other stuff. The only downside was sharing a bed, I felt bad because almost every morning I would find Jared asleep on the floor. I would apologize every morning by making him breakfast.  

Unknown P.O.V. 

"Wren wake up." I felt a slight shove "Mfsefdosfsfh." I wave my hand in the air. I hear footsteps leave the room and the door opens and close. I drift off to sleep again, shock, coldness, and wetness is what I feel all at once. "Fucking shit motherfucker asshole, what the hell Damion!!!" I scream. I jump off the bed while I hear. "I better not be hearing profanities being thrown around up there." My mother yells. "What the hell dude." I say in a calmer tone so my mother doesn't come up here. I shake off like the dog I am. 'Hey don't insult yourself it's bad to do that.'  'your so stupid you know that.'  My wolf mocked hurt. I don't know how but he did. "Wren hurry up we have to get to school!" I look at the time and flip. "Okay, okay I'm coming." Did I mention that today's the first day that all the teenagers in our pack are going to the local high school McCoy high. 

Nova P.O.V. 

"You going to school today?" Jared asks me. "Well yeah it's a new week and guess what you're coming with me." "No thanks princess." "Too bad David enrolled you in the school because I chose to stay with you for a week and he wants to please me so he's on my good side. Like I have a good side." I laugh at that and go into Jared's bathroom to change. "Are you fucking kidding me, who does he think he is." Jared complains through the Bluetooth while we drive to school. Me on my baby and him in his car. "He thinks he's the fucking ruler of the world." I reply. We're about to pull into the school parking lot when I see a blur of people crowding the entrance. Everyone's talking and it's loud but I'm louder. "HEY MOVE!!!!!!" I literally scream and I rev my bike. Everyone parts while I pull in with Jared hot on my tail. "Dude get off my ass please if you don't mind." I say "I will, I will but only after I get through the crowd." I roll my eyes.

 Oh btw I'm wearing a helmet. I park in a spot and Jared pulls in right next to me. I smell a new pack. 'Fresh blood' Ember says while licking her snout. 'Fresh blood indeed my precious, fresh blood indeed.' ' Why repeat what you just said that makes no sense.' ' Way to go Ember you just ruined the moment.' ' And why my precious what's up with that it's just creepy.' ' Oh fuck you Ember.' ' Fuck you too Nova.' ' You would.' I snicker and close the link so I can inspect the new people. I take my helmet off and flip my hair out of my face like a boss. Jared's looking behind me. I turn and see a huge group of people walking towards us probably the new pack. Walking with them I see my best buds in the whole world. Jenny, Ben, Theo, Luka, and Axel!  I start walking and Jared walks behind me Carter catches up with us when he sees us. For some reason Shane walks behind me too. 

We form kind of a triangle, Jared is on my right, Carter on my left and Shane somewhere in between. I see the two boys leading the giant group in the front and they radiat power. They're deffinately alpha's to be. We meet in the middle and just stare intensly at eachother until one of my favorite people ask me- No sarcasm here- one of my favorite questions.- There it is- "Where the hell have you been we've been worried about you." I stare at Luka's beautiful face. His eyes are so captivating. " Hello" Axel waves his hand in my face and I snap out of my daze. "Sorry I've been taking care of some stuff. But I missed you guys!" I exclaim my eyes threatening to turn gold. Axel turns around to do something and I jump on his back because I have this overwhelming happiness and I can't control it. When I get on his back he stands up quickly and instictivly puts his hands under my legs to keep me up. 

"Did you miss me." I whisper in his ear and kiss him on the cheek. He shivers  involentary, I start to laugh. "Who are you?" Someone asks and I realize that everyone's still here. I turn Axel around and stare at everyone my eyes get darker because I'm making myself get mad to scare the shit out of people and it's working. "Move." I say in a menacing tone and everyone scatters like chickens who got thier heads cut off. I turn Axel back to the alphas and stick my hand out. "Nova Rose, pleasure to meet you." "I'm Damion and this is Wren my brother, we're from the new pack that just moved in." "Well I hope you like it here." The bell rings to go to first period. Axel and I have the same first period so he walks me there while I'm still on his back. 'Finally we're back at school I was beginning the think that you were never going to come back.' ' Why are you talking to me now Ember after so long why now?'  

You see after my mom died Ember barely talked to me then all together stopped talking to me one day. Now all of a sudden she's starting to talk to me again. ' Because something big is going to happen and I want to be there when it happens. More like I need to be there to guide you when it happens. I don't know what 's going to happen but I know that I need to be there to help you.' ' Okay Ember I missed you so much I'm glad we're talking again.' ' Me too.' With that I blocked the link and got to class. Axel and I sat down and the two alphas walked into the room. They introduced themselves. The room stunk of arousal after they introduced themselves. I gagged and Axel looked at me with amusement playing in his eyes. "This is going to be a great week." He whispered to me while the alphas sat down. 

A/N ~ Hey guys, schools almost over yay! After school ends I'll have more time to spend on my book so I can update for you guys. I'm so excited! Thanks to all of you that have been patient and waited for me to update my book I really appreciate it. I'm making the family introduction right now and it will be on my book in no time. I hope you guys had a great week even though it's saturday and not friday.
