A Miraculous Tail

Chapter 6

A/N: I am soooooooooooo sorry for not updating in like ages that's why I am going to post 3 chapters for a change instead of one. Please tell me when you want me to update. I haven't been receiving many comments so it would be great if you would.

Narrators POV

"Okay so I'm a superhero who is supposed to save Paris from evil. I also know how to use the power of my pearl, so I should be fine....right?" Marinette said to herself looking unsure. "Well here goes nothing." Marinette said trying to sound brave and confident, though she was actually feeling the complete opposite.

Marinette hooked her yoyo on a building and slightly tugged it. "Whoaaaaaaa" she squealed.

Marinette luckily landed on a building safely. Luckily she had arrived at the spot where her partner was attempting to battle with stone heart but was failing very badly. Suddenly she heard a familiar voice.

Marinette's POV

Alya!!????

What is Alya doing here. Marinette thought while Alya was shouting at her to be brave. " Come on, red....um..super hero...um...with..um.... Black spots.....person." Alya shouted trying to motivate me.

I knew I couldn't let my friend down. I jumped of the building and into the football stadium where the fight was taking place. I stood up tall and tried to look fierce but I realised that my presence didn't make any difference to Stoneheart as he continued trying to smash Cat Noir under his fist, while Cat Noir just managed to dodge.

I stood there like an idiot thinking of what to say or what to do. I knew that I had to do something when I saw Stoneheart picking up Cat Noir in his fist and squeezing him hard as if he was trying to pop him.

I wrapped my yoyo around stoneheart's hand. "Animal cruelty, how shameful." I said trying to sound confident, and also sound like I knew what I was doing but I honestly had absolutely no idea what I was doing.

I don't know if it was a fluke or my good luck but wrapping my yoyo around stoneheart's hand somehow caused him to drop Cat Noir.  Cat Noir quickly hurried towards me.

"Thankyou, m'lady, now I've got this. Time to show who's stronger." Cat Noir said over confidently while I just rolled my eyes.

Cat Noir was about to walk over to stone heart to ummm..... Well... it honestly seemed to me that he was going to get pulverised, so I grabbed on to his tail causing him to look at me in confusion. I quickly let go of his tail which nearly made made him fall over face first but he luckily regained his balance. "Fighting him is definitely not going to work, didn't you notice he gets stronger when he has been attacked. We have to do something different." I told him.

"Something different hmm.... I know!''

I knew he would figure something out eventually. I gave him a brightened look expecting him to tell me a great plan or something, but my smile quickly faded when I heard his idea.

"Let's use my powers, apparently I can destroy anything I touch.If I touch him then he will crumble." he said over confidently.

"CATACLYSYM!!"

"Wait nooo. Didn't you listen to anything. Attacking him will only make him stronger."

"Watch this." he said while touching the goal posts causing them to turn black and crumble."

"You haven't listened to anything I have said this whole afternoon, have you?

I realised I was talking to myself as Cat Noir had already made his way to stone heart touching his foot expecting him to crumble. Unfortunately to Cat Noir's disappointment stoneheart didn't crumble, instead Cat Noir got flicked of like he was a baby ant.

He landed on the ground with a thud.

"Ouch! Seems like I only get one shot. Got any bright ideas." he asked

"Seems like I have got no choice."

"LUCKYCHARM!!!"
