I don't know exactly when we got there or how long we were there for before I woke up. Mostly because of the fact that I fell asleep on him while we were on our way there. I mean who falls asleep on a boy you met not even a day ago. Let's not forget about the blood, I was shot with an arrow there must've been blood all over him. I feel bad but at the same time I don't because that arrow was meant for him.
I sit up as I groan. I have a major headache. Finally I feel the pain in my arm. I look down and sigh as I see all of the blood seeping through the bandage. I'm way too tired to do this right now so I just lay back down and close my eyes. not even five seconds later I hear the door slam open and I feel like the air has just been sucked out the room and I can't breathe. I open my eyes and see Idris in the chair right next to the bed I mysteriously woke up in. No wonder I couldn't breathe. He's here. Wait. Nope I didn't just say that. Did I just say that? Technically I didn't I thought of it. Wait, this doesn't help. Ugh.. just shut up and talk to him.
Just as I'm about to say something to the mysterious boy Lauren and Whisper rush into the room, along with Fray who is guarding the queen. " Oh Echo. I am so glad you are safe." Whisper says as she pulls me into a tight hug. I hug her back. " I'm okay."
This interaction between us grabs Idris' attention, " Wait, isn't she the queen?"
"Yea, she is the queen why?" I respond.
"Aren't you supposed to like not touch the queen." He states it like it's something the whole world knows and will get punished if they completed that action. I smile at him. "Not when you're her best friend." He raises his eyebrows then silently sinks back into his chair. All of a sudden I feel sharp pain in my arm and cry out. Everyone starts looking worried. I hold my arm up.
Lauren rushes to me and starts to work on my arm. Fray creases her eyebrows, "Wait, I don't get it. She shouldn't be bleeding still. She should be fine. The poison on that arrow isn't meant to hurt humans."
"What do you mean?" Idris stands up. Fray looks at him then explains, " There was a type of poison on that arrow. I don't know what its called but it's for the Dubé. It's not for humans. "
"Stardust. You idiots!" he screams. "How could you not realize she's a Dube?" he rushes to his bag. He pulls out a vial and rushes back to the bed. He puts the vial to my mouth and forces me to drink the substance. It taste like peppermint but it's burning my throat. I try to spit it out but he puts his hand over my mouth and tells Fray to hold my arms down and for Lauren to hold down my legs. Sooner or later I start to feel dizzy and have no choice but to swallow the burning elixir and pass out from exhaustion.

When I wake up I'm in a different room. I've never been in here but I know I'm still in the palace. All of a sudden the bathroom door opens and Idris walks out with nothing but sweatpants on. I can feel the blush on my pale cheek and try to hide it with my hair. I cautiously look up only to find Idris already looking at me and smirking. I clear my throat, " Umm.. so do you want to explain why you have to shove a vial of black.. water.. that surprisingly didn't taste too bad except for the burning part down my throat, very forcefully might I add." he chuckles.
"Look at your arm." he responds "Look at my arm. Look at my arm! That's what you're going to respond with after you basically force-fed me a substance that made me pass out! Ugh.. you are unbeliv- " I stop in mid-sentence when I see my arm. The mark is completely gone. where the arrow shot me, it's gone.
"I think you mean thank you for saving your life, Sweetheart." he says then walks back into the bathroom.
Once I'm finished gaping at whatever just happened I jump out of the bed and walked out of the room to try and find Whisper.
