Chapter 23

It has been over a week since Masala has been going from Musuku to Lufuno, Musuku had started to have her suspicions because he would just get texts while they are still together and he would suddenly have to go.

He had been spending more time with Lufuno because she demanded most of his time and he was starting to find his long hidden feelings for her, it was starting to seem as though he is more attached to her because of the sex.

Chidzima had broken all communication with Masala because he finally realized that Masala has given in to cheating on Musuku with a woman he hated with all his heart.

Musuku had told her friend Munangwa who decided she would spy on Masala to see where he normally disappears to, She had been keeping tabs on him and realized each time he went missing was because he would meet up with his cousins wife but never thought anything of it.

Munangwa's Pov

I woke up feeling very eerie in our new home and decided I would drive to the mall to get me some over the counter medication on my way out I saw Masala's car in the parking lot and then decided to wait to say hi.

I saw him coming out carrying plastic bags from Victoria secrets with his cousins wife, he leaned in and gave her a kiss on the lips and then put his arm around her, wait a minute, how come are they always together and why did he just give her a kiss on the lips?

I decided I would follow them and see where they were going, as they drove out of their parking, I followed them until they got to Masala and Musuku's new house, what are they doing there, this makes no sense.

They entered in and started to kiss their way into the lounge, he started to take her clothes off, blinds open, thanks to the glass dominated house, I took out my phone thinking I should call Musuku to come over and see what was happening but then decided not to anymore.

I was so upset when I drove back to my place, my hand s were shaking and I could feel how angry I was about what I just saw, how dare he do that my friend, I cannot believe this guy.

I called Musuku and asked where she was, she told me she was home not feeling well and I decided I would go over just to be with her, I packed everything I needed and drove to her place.

I found her in bed sweating and cringing from the pain in her tummy, I asked what was wrong and she told me her tummy was cramping hectically, I called Masala and I asked him to come through because his fiancé was sick of which he told he couldn't because he was caught up in a meeting.

I hung up and called Chidzima who came immediately and we took her to the doctor, after examining her he told us she had been poisoned  and that they needed to pump out the things in her stomach because if they didn't she would die.

When they were done with her they put some drips on her as she was dehydrated, we sat there all night and still Masala did not show, when she got discharged Masala arrived with his hair out of place, I knew exactly why he looks that way and I hated that he was going to try and touch her with the same hand that were indulging in filth with another woman, his cousins wife to be exact.

"Oh baby, are you okay, I am so sorry I could not get here earlier but I am here now", he said as he hugged and pushed her hair back, he looked at her kissed her forehead and tears started to roll down his eyes.

"Why are you crying huh? Tell me the real reason behind your tears will you? I said to him with so much scorn in my voice, I hated him; I wanted to punch him on the face.

Chidzima just looked at him and I could feel there was tension between the two of them, come to think of it they had not said a damn thing to each other since Masala got here.
