Chapter 25

Musukus

It was 7am when I decided I would go look for him, the wedding was in 2hours but I could add another hour so I grabbed my keys and drove back to my house, when I got there, there was no one, on my way out I found Chidzima and Munangwas car parked.

"Found him?" they asked me, "no, let us go look in his place first then we can go to our house last I instructed" we drove off to his place and when we got there he wasn't there either, we passed on to his aunt and lastly our house. I walked in and looked in the lounge, he wasn't there, the bathroom, then our bedroom and there he was.

His brother's wife was ontop of him and they were having sex in our bed, i stood there for a good 15 minutes and they still didn't notice me because they were so caught up in the moment.

I fell on my knees and started to sob quietly, I slept on the cold floor for the loss of strength to get up, I just stayed there numb, not thinking, not feeling but tears pouring out of my eyes.

I felt a hand touch me "are you okay? Please get up" the voice said. I stood up all of a sudden filled with strength, i looked around and I saw nobody but the two disgusting beings getting it on, on my bed.

"How could you? What have I ever done to you to deserve this, i drove all the way worried sick that something might have happened to you and this is what I find? In our house? In our bed? Really?" I Said to them as they quickly got off each other.

"I am sorry, I was going to tell you, I didn't want you to find out this way, I have chosen to be with Lufuno" He said to me

"What? Why? I mean that is your brother's wife and she is carrying his baby, how low can you be Masala, if you wanted to cheat on me couldn't it have been with anyone else? Did it have to be your own cousins wife?" I asked him sobbing uncontrollably.

"no she is pregnant with my child, it is not my cousins, its mine and I am going to be there for the baby, don't get me wrong I do love u, I wanted to marry you and be happy with you but I just couldn't anymore, I love Lufuno, I can't be with you" he said looking into my eyes so I could see how much he meant it.

I fell on the floor, I could not feel my legs, my heart broke into a billion pieces from hearing how he loved somebody else, and how he wanted her over me, how she is pregnant for him, and how he was going to be with her instead of me.

I screamed this time not being able to handle the pain that had just been inflicted in me, my chest felt as though it was closing up on me and breathing was getting harder "what? How? When?" was all I managed to say.

Behind me were Munangwa and Chidzima just standing there looking at him and trying to get me up, I just stayed there and Munangwa joined me.

Chidzima asked him "how could you man? On our wedding day? This time you have just gone too far, I will never forgive you for this".

He began to narrate the story of how it started the night we had a fight and I told him I needed a break, that Lufuno came on to him and seduced him.

Masala's POV

Remember the night you told me you needed space after you felt I was hiding something from you? You were right. I got home to my aunt waiting for me by the gate telling me I needed to get Lufuno pregnant.

At first I was hesitant but then after you told me you needed a break I got all the courage I needed.

Right after the call, there was a knock on my bedroom door, standing there half naked was Lufuno my cousins wife, she let herself in and told me if I do not let her in she will shout rape.
