Megans POV
Its been About a week since I got discharged from the hospital and its been eventful to say the least. I've been able to get out of bed but being so dependant on crutches or other people is different to say the least for someone who's so use to being independant . I haven't been able to go to college and staying home is not what you call fun , especially when my parents are never home but maybe that's a good thing,I haven't got to hear them scream at eachother. I sit up in my bed and take a look at the time letting out a groan,not because its early,because I know that I've got another day where I've got absolutely nothing else to do but sit here.
I slip one of my legs out of my bed and grab hold of the crutched and pull my self out of bed using the crutches as a support. Once I've got my balance I make my way out of my room and make my way slowly downstairs,realising how quiet the house is. Once I get downstairs,I expect noone to be in but straight away I notice my parents sat at the table in silence. I make my way in and both of their heads snap up to look at me . "Megan.." My mum speaks fiddling with her fingers as she looks at me. "Yes?" I reply taking a seat inbetween them, I can already tell this is going to be bad news,they never do this unless they're about to drop a bombshell.
"I..we have some news" my dad speaks before my mum even has the chance to , my mum goes crazy thinking of all the things that it could be but I can't think of anything . "What's that?.." I reply fiddling with the ends of my hair.
"You may have noticed we have been arguing quite abit" my mum adds , how could I have missed it,is she really asking me that
"Yes" I speak wanting an answer quicker then she's giving it to me
"Just remember that we.." My mum starts speaking but my dad interrupts before she can finish
"Were getting a divorce"
