i felt bad for y/n, she hasn't gotten a proper rest since i moved into her apartment.

i didn't have a proper job, instead i was just making songs here-and-there, so that meant extra work for her to be able to pay rent.

"ashley, you need a job, even if it's minimum wage, you gotta give the favor back to your best friend." i said to myself. "i'm gonna go out and get a job!"

just when i said that i heard a knock on the door.
"who is it?"

"josh, tyler and jenna." what the?

i opened the door and saw them standing with some luggage. "hey, come in y'all? congrats on the new album!"

i hugged each one of them.

"what brings you guys to utah?" i served coffee to everyone.

"for fun." josh said.

"actually josh came here for y/n, since y'know he still loves her." tyler said making josh go red.

"oOoOoOh, sOmEoNe hAs a cRusH oN hIs eX?" i said making him get more embarrassed.

"technically we're still dating, we never broke up, hehe." he scratched the back of his neck.

"that's a dumb excuse josh." tyler said, obviously he was angry for being woken up early.

"anyways, where's y/n? is she working?" josh said sipping some coffee.

"she's upstairs sleeping, come on i'll take you." i guided him to y/n's room and he opened the door.

i closed the door behind me and just stared at the tired human sleeping on the bed.

"still sleepy as ever." i whispered.

i started walking around her room and noticed something bright in the comer of my eye, i turned around and saw the jewelry i gave her.

"make her my daughter-in-law."

i had an idea, i could take y/n somewhere out here and ask her to be my girl again. chill josh, you haven't even thanked her for inspiring vessel..

"hey, y/n," i was now trying to wake her up.

after a few times she finally woke up and went for a hug.

"thank you." he said hugging me.

"for?" i said hugging him back.

"inspiring me." he let go and i stared at his mocha eyes.

"no problem." i turned around and looked at my phone, 1:12 p.m. "dammit."

"what's wrong?" he said.

"iM LATE TO WORK!" i grabbed my stuff and ran downstairs, who the hell needs a shower anyways?

"hello y'all." i said in a hurry and grabbed my coffee. "wait-tyler, jenna?!"

"hello." jenna waved, i waved back.

"y/n, you don't have to go to work today.." halsey said, josh was now downstairs.

"why?"

"b-because i want to take you out.." josh said making me blush. "will you accept my invitation?"

"yeah sure." i said trying to act like if i wasn't dying of happiness in the inside.

"umm not to be rude or anything, but i'm tired and i'm not going to be standing here without a proper rest.." tyler said making jenna slap his hand.

"oh right! sorry," halsey said taking their luggage and guiding them upstairs leaving josh and i alone.

"im gonna go get ready, if you want you can shower in halsey's room." we both went upstairs and went our on ways.

i turned on the shower, grabbed my clothes, and some skin care products and started showering.

today is gonna be great and i can't wait to tell brendon and debby how my day went.
