Chapter 10

Maria pov
I sat in bed reading my book waiting for Dick to get back from patrol.

The door opened and Dick came in still dressed as Nightwing.

"Hey you're still up?" He asked as he came over and kissed me.

"I am," I said. He got changed and joined me in bed.

"So I've got a surprise for you." I smiled as I closed my book.

Dick wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer. "What is it?" Dick asked as I rested my head on his shoulder.

I got close to his ear. "Were expecting number three." I whispered.

Dick gave me a confused look. "What?" He asked.

"I'm pregnant." I said.

"You're kidding?" He asked.

"No," I smiled.

Dick put his hands on my stomach. "I love you." He said then kissed me.

"I love you too." I said.

He pulled me so I was sitting up on top of him. "We're having another baby." He smiled as he put his hands on my stomach.

"We are." I smiled and leaned over and kissed him. I laid down so I was laying on top of him.

"I love you," he said.

"I love you too." I said.

He rolled onto his side. I rested my head on his shoulder and soon found my self asleep.

I woke up with Dick's arms around me. I tried to get up but he wouldn't let me. I then felt morning sickness coming on.

"Dick let go or I will throw up on you." I said.

He let go and I ran to the bathroom and threw up. I felt Dick pull my hair back as I heaved. I sat against the wall and Dick got me a glass of water and a wash cloth.

"I'm going to get our kids to ready for daycare and take them down to breakfast." Dick said.

He put my hair in a pony tail and then left. I threw up again. I kept heaving till all the contents of my stomach was gone. I tried to drink a bit of water but even that was too strong for my stomach.

I laid on the floor and I felt like I'd been hit by a train. I sat up and tried to get up. I used the wall as balance. With my two prior pregnancies I hadn't had morning sickness this bad.

I made my way to the nursery.

"Hey are you feeling better?" Dick asked as he changed Justice's diaper.

"No," I moaned.

"Go lay down," Dick said.

I left the nursery and my stomach leercheed again and I ran to Tim and Jason's bathroom.

Jason pov
Tim and I were getting ready when the door from my sitting room was thrown open and Maria ran in and threw up in the toilet. Dick ran in following.

"Is she alright?" Tim asked.

"Sort of," Dick said as he rubbed her back.

"What do you mean by that?" I asked.

Maria sat up. "I'm pregnant." She snapped then threw up again.

"What?" Tim asked.

"We found out yesterday." Dick said.

Maria leaned back against Dick. I grabbed a wash cloth and ran it under the water. I rung it out and then tossed it to Dick. He wiped Maria's face off and picked her up.
