#Alana's Point Of View#

How does it feel to be heartbroken? Ask me.

It hurts a lot. Feels like there is no reason to live. The feeling of betrayal stings your heart. The memories keep coming back. They make you go numb, make you cry.

You feel like you have no more value. It makes a hole in your heart. Scratch that. Your heart is already crushed.

                This is how I feel.

"Oh come on Al! You can't stay like this forever!" Isabel complained.

"Isabel," I cried pulling my bestie into a hug. She hugged me back tightly and whispered into my ear, " Alana Peters, I order you to stop crying or else," she paused.

"Or else?" I asked wiping my tears.

"I'm going to eat your share of ice-cream." She ran out of my room and raced towards the kitchen. It took me seconds to realise that she actually ran for my share.

"I, Alana Peters, will not let you do that!" I screamed and chased her. But I was late. She had already started to eat it.

"Oh no you did not." I said.

" Oh yes it did," Izzy said sticking her tongue out and had the last spoon of ice-cream.

"YOU BIG FAT BUM. I hate you!" I said and walked out of our apartment. I climbed three flight of stairs and reached the rooftop. The elevator works whenever I don't have to use it. Curse my luck. Oh wait, my luck is already cursed.

I saw someone sitting in my usual place.  Who could it be? I walked towards that person.

"Hey you're sitting in my place!" I said crossing my arms. He din't respond. I got really annoyed. Who is this person anyway? It's not like everyone comes up to the rooftop.

"Oi," I said tapping his shoulders. He turned around and I realised he had his earphones in.   I can't complain now.

"What?" he asked, in an irritated way.

"Well, if you don't mind. Please can you move to another place? This one's mine."

"I mind. So bye bye!" he said waving. He plugged his earphones back. Great. Now I have to find another place.

After many attempts of sitting in various different position and places, I decided to talk to him again. He has to move because it was my place.

I saw him get up and stretch. Bless him.

           "Thank you...?" I started.

"No mention... girl with puffy eyes and red cheeks," he said chuckling.

           "Damn."

"It's okay you don't look that bad either. I'm Javier, by the way," he said.

"I'm the puffy eyed Alana," I said giving a small smile.

           "I was kiddin' alrite."

"Yeah I know." I sat down in my place. Ah. Good times. Whenever I'm low, I bring a cup of coffee and stare at the surrounding from the top.
