Sometimes
I get asked
How it feels to live
While feeling others'
Pain.
They say
That it must feel terrible
To have a constant weight
On your heart
And to be involved in everyone's
Problems
All at once.
It is painful
Sometimes it's pure torture
But
One thing I learned out of
All this
Is that
People are all
A bit broken around the edges.
I guess
Everyone had to ache at
One point in their lives
And everyone has their stories
So I guess
We shouldn't be too
Quick to judge others.
We are all
Rounded
Sharp
And cracked
Bruised
Injured
At some point
In our lives
Perhaps
We are all unique
But
Somehow the same
Because we
All are different pieces
Forced to fit
Together.
And if we just accepted
That fact
Perhaps
Our world would
Be
A better place.

PoetryHonestly, was I ever a poet? Here's my attempts at spinning life into poetry-which I hardly know about.
