The young fox slipped through the crowded roads of the town, her hood hiding herself from others as she looked for her next target. Her blue and silver eyes landed on a rich-looking tabby cat wearing a light brown trench coat and black dress pants. 'Bingo...' she thought, smirking a little as she carefully neared the cat while he looked at one of the small shops set up on the side of the road. She walked next to him, acting like she was looking at the various jewelry laid out on the table as she carefully pick-pocketed the tabby of his money, which he had stored in a leather pouch in his pocket. The fox walked away once she had the pouch in her hands, holding back a laugh at the fact that the tom hadn't realized he had been robbed right under his nose. She slipped through the crowd again, reaching the security of the forest shadows.
She happily looked around as she walked deeper into the forest, her tail swaying as she walked. The Grey fox looked down at her hands, throwing the leather pouch a few times as she walked, laughing quietly. "Those rich idiots are such easy targets," she said before chuckling again. A shadowy figure dropped from a tree behind the young thief and taped her on the shoulder. She screamed and jumped away, quickly turning to face her opponent." your a little cocky one aren't you." The shadowy figure reeled back and punched her face knocking her to the ground. The fox quickly put the leather pouch in one of her pockets and started getting up, running as fast as she could from the attacker while some blood dripped from her nose.
The shadowy figure chased the fox through the woods taking a shortcut and cutting her off. "Sorry. But I go to bring you into my employer," he said, punching the fox again, this time knocking the fox flat on her back. The figure picked the young fox up throwing her over his shoulder and walking out of the woods and to his small cabin. The fox screamed and hit the figure as she struggled to get away. "Let me go!! Who are you?! What do you want from me?!" "Shut up, before I'm forced to kill you." The cloaked figure said as he opened the door to his little cabin and walked to a spare bed, tossing her onto it and shutting the door on the windowless room. The fox whimpered nervously, her ears laid back and her tail curled around her as her eyes darted around the room, looking for a way to escape. She growled, her eyes becoming narrow slits as she rammed into the wall opposite of the door, not willing to get locked up without a fight.
The figure hung up his cloak revealing that he was a large gray wolf. He'd put a cast iron pan on, cutting a small chunk of butter onto the pan and putting a few pieces of venison on the pan before walking back into the room and shutting the door before she could get out. "You have five minutes to tell me a few good reasons why I shouldn't kill you and hand you into my employer." She growled at him nervously. "I have done nothing to you! Why did your employer hire you to catch me? Who are you?!" she yelled as she glared at him, her pupils still narrow slits as they glowed brightly in the dark room.
"From what I have heard you have stolen around a total of 10,000$ and my name is Lupin." the wolf replied. "I have only stolen around half that amount... but thank you for thinking SO highly of me." she replied smugly, still glaring at him. "You still haven't given me a reason not to kill you." Lupin said, walking out and grabbing the venison putting it onto a plate and then walking back into the room "Eat. I can't have you starving or my employer will know I didn't kill you ASAP."
She laid her black ears flat against her head. "I have done anything to you bounty hunter. I don't know who your employer is but I can assure you I didn't do any harm to them besides stealing some money or a simple item. I only take what I need and anything extra I get I save for later or give to someone else who actually needs it. The rich have everything they could ever need. They don't need to be greedy over a few spare coins and things that they can easily replace!" she replied.
"You could work for your money instead of stealing it." Lupin replied, taking a piece of the venison as he did. "And get bossed around by someone else and lose my freedom? No way! I like having my freedom thank you very much! I'm not going to wear those stupid dresses like everyone expects a girl too!" the fox yelled at the grey wolf. "You could've become a bounty hunter like I am. After all, we canines are amazing trackers and hunters."She rolled her eyes. "Unlike you, however, I don't have to rely on others to find my targets or give me the money I need. I live by my own rules and on my own terms." she huffed and lifted her head slightly as if disgusted by the mere thought of having to live off by the wills of others, her tail flicking.
