Lupin rushed out following her sent yelling "No! Come back! I wasn't going to kill you! I never even got your name..." the wolf said falling to a jog as he tracked her down. A loud scream could be heard in the distance as a branch broke from under the vixen and she started falling off the 15-foot high tree, preparing to hit the forest floor harshly as she closed her eyes tightly. Lupin heard the sharp scream and he switched into a fast sprint rushing towards the sound. Seeing her fall and hit the ground, Lupin rushed as quickly as he could to her side "Are you okay?! Is anything broken?!" Lupin said quickly. The fox whimpers as she forced herself up, holding her arm as she glanced at him, her black ears laying flat against her head. She started running again, ignoring the pain that shot through her skull as she ran from the large wolf.

Lupin rush after, grabbing her small frame and lifting her, her feet still kicking out. "Stop before you hurt yourself more!" Lupin snapped. She continued thrashing against his grip screaming. "Let me go!! Let me go you stupid mutt!" she suddenly kicked him between the legs as she fought against him. Lupin would barely flinch, he'd pinch a nerve knocking her out cold. "Sorry about this..." Lupin said softly, holding her and walking back to the cabin. The fox curled up against his chest as she slept, enjoying his warmth while she purred softly, nuzzling him gently. Lupin walked into the cabin laying the fox gently on the bed. He lit a candle and left the room shutting the door behind him.

The fox whimpered as his warmth disappeared, shifting a bit before waking up a hour later. She sat up and rubbed her eyes, looking around in confusion, looking at her arms and noticing some bandages. The smell of cooking wafted into the room as Lupin started to bring some soup to a boil. The young grey fox perked her ears up at the smell of the food. 'What the...' the fox thought as she tilted her head in confusion, getting up and following the scent of the food. She walked silently as she followed the scent, keeping to the shadows as she walked. She peeked into the kitchen carefully, noticing the cooking soup and quickly noticing him. "Morning sleeping beauty." Lupin said, glancing back before taking the soup off the stove.

She sniffed the air nervously before looking at the food with wide, curious eyes. "What's your name anyway?" Lupin asked scoping soup into a bowl and bringing it to a small table. She followed him carefully, huffing at his question before replying, "Wouldn't you like to know..." "Tell me or I won't give you the soup." Lupin stated. Her stomach growled quietly as she looked at the bowl, quickly returning her gaze to him. "How do I know this isn't one of your traps?" she growled quietly at him, her ears laying flat again. "Really, still defensive after I hauled you all the way back here, bandaged your arms, and made you some soup?" Lupin growled. The young vixen's fur puffed out a bit as she growled back quietly, "Well sorry I'm not exactly going trust someone who was sent to KILL ME!" "I told you things that no one else knows and I just want your name." Lupin snapped. The fox growled again, circling the wolf before turning and walking back to the room, slamming the door.

She looked down at her paws, smirking at the bowl of soup she had taken before sitting on the bed and starting to eat it happily. Lupin muttered angrily under his breath " I just wanted to know my guest's name after I freaking told her my life story..." Lupin stuffed his face with the soup before going into his room and to bed. The fox perked her head up, hearing his door close. 'Should I really trust him? He has had several chances to kill me... yet he hasn't taken a single one...' She thought for a second before sighing. 'I might as well at least tell him my name in return for the food and bandages.... And not killing me yet.....' She finished her food and got up, going to the kitchen and putting her bowl in the sink before walking to his room quietly, knocking on the door nervously. "What." Lupin asked as he opened the door. She looked at the wolf cautiously. "Lilith... my name's Lilith." she said softly, her ears laid back a bit.

"Nice to finally know your name." Lupin replied tired. "Now can I go back to sleep or do you need me for something?" The wolf said yawning. Lilith growled before turning and walking away from him muttering under breath, "selfish, deceiving, cold-hearted hunter..." She slammed her door shut as she entered her room. "Try not to break my door!" Lupin yelled through the walls before going back to bed. "Shut up!!" Lilith yelled back. Lupin chuckled quietly before thinking to himself 'she's just a fiery ball of pride and anger... a cute one though.' Lupin thought before falling into a deep sleep.

The fox paced in her room, cursing the hunter in her head. She looked up at the hole again. 'Should I try escaping again? He is asleep right now and he is treating me like I need HIM to survive.....' she thought to herself before growling. 'Screw it, I'm leaving this place.' She quietly slipped through the hole, jumping to the floor quietly before running silently through the forest.

Lupin awoke to a creak in the roof as she left. ' why? Now I have to go track her down again.' Lupin thought as he drug himself out of bed and out the door. 'Now which way did she go...' Lupin sniffed the air catching her scent. He fell into a light jog as he tracked her down again. Lilith ran deeper and deeper into the forest, hoping to find a familiar village somewhere nearby. Lupin stepped out in front of her dropping his shoulder as she ran into him, knocking the air out of her as she fell back. "You really need to work out more." Lupin stated bluntly. The fox gasped for air and growled darkly at the wolf, "Shut up you stupid mutt.... I was perfectly fine before YOU came along and kidnapped me!" "First, don't call me a mutt. Next, shut up. As soon as you leave my forest they'll have your head on a wooden stake." Lupin growled. "Now just stay with me until things cool down and then you can leave."

She got up and brushed the leaves and dirt off her clothes. Lilith looked at Lupin angrily. "You are a real jerk, you know that?" she spat at him coldly. "I'm really not. I've offered to feed you give you a shelter, I told you about my childhood and all the things that went wrong in my life. I've had countless times to kill you, yet I haven't. I've been an overall nice guy. So be a dear and Just be nice to me back. I know you are self-dependent and all, but if you leave my land I can guarantee that you'll die. And I really don't want that to happen." said Lupin. She slapped him across the face before continuing to walk away from him and the cabin. "Lilith, just stop for a minute and listen to me!" Lupin snapped.

Lilith looked at him. "Why? If you don't remember, you are a bounty hunter who was sent to kill me. I don't know WHY you decided to not follow orders, more or less try to befriend me, but it was YOUR decision. Not mine." she glared darkly at the wolf as she spoke, her tail swaying back and forth in annoyance. "Fine... I'll just let you get yourself get killed." Lupin said quietly before turning around and walking back towards the cabin, his tail dragging limply in the dirt.

Lilith huffed and continued walking through the forest, nearly getting herself lost a few times. Smiling in relief. "Finally.... Now I can go back to life as normal..." she murmured quietly as she walked to the village. Lilith walked into the village, looking around in hopes of finding out where she was. A rifle round whistled right above her ear, hitting the dirt right behind the young Vixen. Lilith yelped and looked in the direction the bullet came from, her tail curling around her nervously as she looked at the rooftops. Another shot rang out, a bullet nicking her ear and snapping her out of her shock. Lilith screamed in fear and started running from the shooter, her screams echoing through the forest... Lupin's head snapped up hearing the scream he lunged up and ran out the door at a full sprint, forgetting to put his cloak and shirt on as he ran towards the sound.
