Dean had never moved so fast in his life. He sped down the stairs with no shoes on and found himself outside unable to stop. It didn't matter that it was raining, it didn't matter that it was dark, and it most certainly didn't matter that he didn't have a car. He was going to get to Castiel. After all, he was still the love of his life.
Castiel's house wasn't far by any means, but it certainly was not close. 3 miles is a lot to run. Only it felt like Dean was suddenly super-human. After what felt like an eternity, Dean was at Cas' door. He held his hand up to knock, but yet he hesitated. Dean had no idea of what would be talked about once the door opened. Did Castiel even want to keep the baby? Dean knew that they were young, but it's not like he hasn't already imagined it.
He knocked and his heart began to race. It's not a big deal, right?
The door opened to reveal a very concerned Castiel.
"Dean?" He asked wide-eyed. "Oh my goodness, you're soaking wet. Get in here." That was it. He had immediately been pulled in to the warm. "Get into the shower before you get sick." Castiel instructed as he pulled Dean to the bathroom. "I'm going to get you some clothes, alright?"
Dean nodded and did as Castiel said.
When Dean finished he put on the clothes that Castiel had laid out for him and really wanted to talk to Castiel. "Cas?" He called out as he stepped out of the bathroom.
What was he even going to say to him?
Castiel then came into the room and shut the door behind him slowly. The air was filled with tension, but neither of the two boys dared to break it. The couple didn't know what would come out of the conversation they were about to have and they were deeply afraid. They'd been together for so long it seemed like that was the way it would always be.
After many moments of silence, Castiel began to cry. Dean's head snapped up and he quickly ran over to the boy. Dean wrapped his arms around the smaller boy pulling him into his chest.
"I'm so sorry," Castiel cried through his tears. "I messed up."
"Don't say that," Dean started. "You didn't do anything wrong." Dean whispered as he ran his hand down his boyfriend's back. "I love you, so I'm going to stay."
With those words, Castiel's head shot up. Out of all the things he imagined in his head, he hadn't imagined Dean staying with him. "What?" Castiel asked wiping his tears.
"I'm gonna be right here." Dean reassured. "Forever."
Author's Note: Hello. I've been gone. You may have noticed or just don't give a crap about this story. BUT I have some news! I'm going to take one of these one shots and make it into a full blown story. If you have a favorite, or perhaps one that you think is the least shitty, let me know in the comments below. Thanks.
P.S. Why does this story have 5k reads? It's not very good writing, but I am thankful. I'm just confused lol.
