SnowBarry - Olicity : Funhouse 1

Eight

Ok so firstly I would like to address the new promo photo that's doing the rounds for the coming up episode of the Flash where Iris is suited up. I have an idea of where it is going with that but I hope it's only for an episode and not a something that is dragged out. I find that Barry has not been the Flash this season that much or super-sped much this season... Especially since he is finally the fastest man alive. 

On a different note, while waiting for my SnowBarry to return, I started watching Riverdale and I'm in love with that show. I started writing about my favourite chemistry filled characters and would appreciate readers....

Felecity came into the living room where Thea and Oliver were sitting  as  waiting for the woman to make them tea. An awkward silence lingered in the air. Oliver quickly straightened up when he saw Felecity.

"How's Barry?" 

"We will know tomorrow but for now he is getting  there," she replied.

Felecity came and sat down next to the two and lowered her voice before she conitued.

"M I the only person that needs to point out thE elephant in the room?"

"What?" 

"Come on!!!! How did the accident happen. I know you Oliver and it wasn't a random thing was it? And more importantly how come Killer Frost couldn't take over Caitlin? What is happened?"

"Felecity, I know we have been through so much and seen so much this we start to look at anything wrong in everything. But maybe this was just... What seems like, an accident," pointed out Thea. 

"She is right. As much as it will be easier to blame come kind of wrong doing here, I thing it was just an accident. As for Killer Frost, maybe  she was just too hurt to transform at that point." 

"Let's hope so. But I can't seem to shake off the feeling that something is not right about this place," whispered Felecity. 

"Oh well that I agree with you fully. I don't have a good feeling here either. Especially coming here," agreed Thea. "Let's just get out of here as soon as Barry is able to get up to leave." 

"Where are Diggle and Cisco?" Asked Felecity. 

"They went out to make any arrangements for us to stay tonight. We can't go  anywhere till tomorrow so might as well find a place. They are also making arrangements for a van for us for tomorrow." 

Ada came in and handed Thea and Oliver hot cup of tea. They took a sip which surprisingly made them feel better. 

"You may not be able to find a place tonight. This town... Don't like hanging around late night," she said. 

"I'm sorry that we have created this inconvenience for you. But our friend really needed help," said Felecity after taking a sip of tea from Oliver's cup. 

"Are you sure don't want me to make you a cup?" 

"No I'm good." 

"This town... Seems a little quite. Is it always like this or..." 

"We are a small town who don't get many outsiders. We like to keep to ourselves. Not everyone is friendly like me," she said with a werid smile that creeped Thea out.

Just then Cisco and Diggle walked in clearly not happy about something . They sat down for a second before finally speaking. 

"So the closed set out houses is a 10 minute walk... Like Ada said and there is no one around that town. It's like a ghost town. Everything is closed and even the only bed and breakfast is closed," said Cisco. 

"Im sorry dear, but I did tell you. You may have no option but to stay here tonight. I can arrange pillows and blankets. It may not be a five star bed and breakfast but that's what you will get here." 

Felecity and Thea exchanged an awkward glance but then nodded with a polite smile. She was right... They had no choice but to stay here.

"Ok I'll tell Caitlin and Barry," said Cisco. He got up but stopped as his head span. He didn't realise but he was tired and everything hurt from the accident. Maybe they should rest up before tomorrow. 

He made his way to the room where Caitlin and Barry had been. He slowly opened the door and froze. A small smile spread across his face as he saw inside. 

Laying there Barry asleep and next to him... Head on his chest and curled up next to him was Caitlin. They both had fallen asleep. Slowly walking in, he put the blanket over them and turned off the lights and walked out. 

"Hey, we guys can share..." Started Thea but Cisco quickly placed a finger on her lips and pulled her away. 

"Yeah good idea but Barry and Caitlin have fallen asleep already and I don't want to wake them up." But we can all share the other two rooms." 

Thea smiled at Cisco and looked back the room where Caitlin and Barry slept and walked to the living room to the others. 

They all made their sleeping arrangements (Cisco, Diggle and Oliver while Thea and Felecity together) and went to bed. That day was started to feel long and they just wanted it to finish.

Everything was quite. There didn't seem to be even a breeze coming in through the stuffy room. It was meant to be cooler but it didn't feel like. The night air was sliced with a loud scream from a distance. Caitlin jumped up from bed and looked around the dark room. Her heart was beating very fast as she tried to get her eyes to adjust to the darkness. 

Next to her, Caitlin heard Barry also trying to get up but a low groan came from him. She made her way to the switch and turned on the lights and saw Barry slowly standing up. Just them Oliver and Diggle bust through the door. They both had concern on their faces as they looked at both Caitlin and Barry.

"Please tell me it was one of you who just scream and scared the hell out of me?" Begged Diggle. 

"It wasn't us. You heard it too then," answered Barry as he put his bloody shirt back on. 

"It didn't come from here," yawned Cisco now joining them. 

"Guys i told you this place gave me the creeps," said Thea. 

"We have no choice but stay here. No matter how scary and horror filled that was," said Oliver. "If you like we can go exploring tomorrow." 

"Mmmmm.... How about we vote no for that. I want to leave the earliest as possible," pointed out Felecity. 

"So you want us to ignore that scream?" 

"We don't even know what it was. Maybe it was just some animal or something. We do seem to be surrounded by forest." 

"We have a look tomorrow. If it's nothing than we can leave. We still have to go into town anyways. Plus we can always ask the woman... What's her name," said Barry. 

"Ada, and yeah i agree," said Caitlin. "Let's just try and get some rest."

Even though the all agreed that it may have not been anything, it didn't put their minds at ease. Something was wrong and it was someone screaming and definitely not any animal. As it was late and there was no other nosie, they decided to let it go and go exploring the next day.
