Dahvie's P.O.V

I smiled a little, feeling more light hearted than I have in weeks as I giggled at something Nightmare said. You know, I wonder what her real name is... but oh well.

"Dahvie?"

I turned my gaze to my favorite teacher, my smile getting bigger as I saw him with his clipboard. "Hi Mr. Baker."

He seemed surprised, but a smile stretched on his lips. "Hi. Uh, aren't you supposed to be in Florida?"

I shook my head, wanting to use as little of an excuse as I could. "No. I moved back for.. family reasons."

He smiled and nodded. "Okay, well, it's good to see you back."

I nodded. "Thanks."

I and everyone else watched as he made his way over to the middle of the cafateria, getting almost eveyones eyes on him. "Okay! Time for announcements." He then smiled, "Today is the first, so of course as always, it will be the funnest." looking down at his clipboard, he spoke again, "Soccer and basketball tryouts are moved for later in the month; but, there is a new club that has been added this year. The 'Silent Singers' choir will be holding auditions this week."

I felt a nudge at my shoulder and I turned my head, seeing Rory waggle her eyebrows at me. "You should try out."

"Yeah, yinz were really good the last time." Mason chimed in, smiling at us.

I raised my brow at them, and was about to say 'I wasn't that good', when memories of Jayy telling me otherwise flashed through my mind, making my cheeks get hot as I remembered how he kissed me after while we were backstage, waiting to preform.

A gentle kiss was placed on top of my head and I looked up at Jayy's smiling face as he spoke. "They're right you know, you're amazing."

I sighed, too lazy to argue so I just shrugged. "Eh. Thanks ya'll."

When Mr. Baker was done with the announcements, it turns out that we all had the same homeroom as last year (yay!). We all headed out of the exit, climbing up the small staircase that lead to our classrooms.

Jayy grabbed my hand and intertwined our fingers, making me smile before we headed inside, going to the table where we usually sat across the room.

"Is eveyone here?" Mr. Baker asked, counting heads.

 There was suddenly a loud knocking at the door and h went over, opening it to reveal someone I didn't expect.

"Mari!" Me, Jayy, Mason, Kendal, and Nightmare blurted at the same time.

 I raised my brow, looking over and seeing that Nightmare was staring at her with wide eyes, and her pale skin had a red tint on her cheeks. She knows Mari?..

Mari smiled, looking up at Mr. Baker and nodded, "Sorry I'm late, I'm new so I got lost on the walk here."

He have his awesome 'welcome' smiles before gesturing for her to come in with a motion of his hand, which she did.

She came over, engulfing me in a hug which I returned. She pulled back, smiling at us. "Heyyy~"

Jayy was the peerson to ask the question we were all thinking of, "What are you doing here?"

She grinned, shrugging, "I live here. Duhh."

When her gaze landed on Nightmare, her mouth plopped open and her expresion turned shocked. "Emma?"

"Emma?" Mason asked confused as he looked at the blushing teen, "That's your name?"

Emma- or.. Nightmare- smiled, nodding. "Uh, yeah, it is!" Then she glared at Mari, crossing her arms, "Thanks for telling them."
