A new life

Beach day

We walk to the warehouse and we escort them in. While the others look around Karen and I talk about what we want done. We decide to call contractors to get the work done. I draw layouts of the club and write notes of what we want done. Where the stage would be, the bar and we decided we would have some food not much but something that would soak up alcohol.

"Your really good at that." Karen says looking at what I'm drawing.

"Thanks it's just one of my hobbies." I say smiling.

"What others hobbies do you have?" Karen asks curiously.

"Well there's writing, drawing and a secret not many know is that I can sing." I say conspiratorially.

"Wow really?" Karen asked shocked.

"Yeah it's just a hobby. I sang a few times with my friends band." I say.

"I'm glad you and Tristan are finally together." Karen says smiling.

"So am I. You raised a great son." I say.

"Thanks, now let's head out." She says and we make our way to the others. We all head out and decide what we want to do.

"Let's go to the beach, we should have fun and a bonfire."Nathan suggested.

"Yeah we'll get everyone together and have it at your parents beach house." Keith says.

"That sounds like a great idea and I'm sorry in advance." I say sadly.

"What are you sorry for? You having nothing to be sorry about." Nathan says hugging me. Tears fill my eyes

"I have a bikini and you'll see what he did. I have cover up but if I go in the water you'll see." I say with tears looking down.

"We won't look at you differently. We feel bad for what has happened to you." Haley says smiling at me. I nod and we head back to the house to change. Tristan helped me take my clothes off and I heard his sharp in take of breath.

"I know it's hideous." I say looking down. He tilts my chin up and softly kisses me.

"No Mare, it just hurts to see what he did to you, I want to kill him. You don't deserve this." He says softly with a tear that was flowing down his cheek. I wiped it away and gave him a small smile. I put my cover up on and we went to meet the others in the living room. We head to the car and make it to the beach house. We walk in and everyone's in the kitchen.

"I ordered food for tonight, it'll be here in a few hours but we have snacks for now." Deb says smiling.

"Come on Mare, lets go swimming." Tristan says and I smile and nod at him and we make our way to the beach and I take my wrap off and we go into the ocean.

Keith's POV

We are all on the porch watching Tristan and Rory. As soon as she took of her wrap I hear them gasp.

"That bastard." Dan seethes in anger.

"Dan she's going to be our daughter in law one day. They confessed their feelings, their dating now." Karen says smiling.

"About time." Brooke says and we all laugh.

"Karen and Rory are opening a club and recording label and studio in the back. They found a place today." I say proudly.

"The place is awesome." Haley says.

"A recording studio why?" Peyton asks.

"She wants some of her artist to record here." I say.

"We're also looking for a bigger house for Keith, Rory, Tristan and I." Karen says smiling at me.

"I don't get it that girl has been through hell and is still so sweet and kind." Skills says dumbfounded.

"She's always been like that, since she was born she had a piece of my heart. She came down when she was old enough for the summer for a few weeks." I say.

"I can't believe we never met her before." Mouth says.

"We were always working in the shop or we would go somewhere." I say to them.

"You know she apologized for what we would see." Nathan says sadly.

"What? Why?" Deb asked confused.

"Mom look at the bruises you can clearly see the scar he left her. I think to her us seeing that shows how bad she was really hurt." Nathan said with tears in his eyes.

"I know she and you guys told us what happened but to see it for myself makes me see how bad he really did hurt her." Haley says. We just watch Rory and Tristan have fun and soon join them.

Tristan's POV

I wrap my arms around Rory and lean down and kiss her softly.

"Are you happy Ror?" I asked
curiously.

"I have you back, Keith and all of you. I'm absolutely happy baby." She says smiling.

"How are you feeling?" I asked concerned.

"I'm good, I'm slowly healing. Soon enough I'll be back to normal." she says to me. I pick her up and she wraps her arms around my neck and laughs. We go further into the water and splash each other. Soon the others joins us and we all head back to lay on the beach.

"This place is so relaxing." Rory says content, finally relaxing after all that has happened to her. I move closer to her and she cuddles into me.

"This place is home." I say.

"I have an appointment to pass the bar next week." She says smiling at me.

"That's great." Brooke says.

"Angel, I'm glad your going to make a home here." Keith says happily.

"Keith it was always my plan to move here to be with you. Your family. Your a dad to me." She says happily.

"What happened to your grandparents?" Nathan asked.

"Health issues. I lost them all within days of each other." She says sadly.

"What do you mean?" Karen asked.

"My grandmother Hayden passed my first year at Yale. My second year my grandma Gilmore passed away. Then the accident happened that killed my parents when I graduated. My grandpa's both of them passed away from heart attacks in their sleep within days of each other." She says with tears welling up.

"Well now you have all of us as family." Deb says smiling at her and everyone nods in agreement. I couldn't be happier. After all that has happened to Rory and she never thought she would be this happy again. I guess she was wrong.
