Rory's POV

Tonight was the night of the event. We were in the car on the way there. Soon we arrived and we entered the venue.

We went straight to Nathalie, Marcus, and Janlan. "Hey guys." I say hugging them.

"How's my girl?" Janlan says smiling.

"I'm great Janlan." I say.

"What did I tell you to call me?" He says sternly.

"Sorry Grandpa." I say with a pout and we all laugh.

"Now go with your friends. We're going to announce you now." Marcus says smirking.

We make our way to our family. "You guys ready for fireworks." I asked with a smirk.

"Huh?" They asked confused.

"You see them over there?" I asked them and point to the Huntzberger's.

"Yeah why?" Nathan asked perplexed.

"That's Logan's family. Watch their faces. Also make sure I'm never alone." I say sternly and they all nod.

We look over to the stage. "May we have your attention please." Nathalie says. Everyone quiets down.

"Tonight we have an important announcement to make." Marcus says. "Tonight we are going to announce the heir and heiress to our family business." Grandpa Janlan says. I look at Tristan and he's shocked like me.

"Now will my nephew Tristan Lucas Scott and his lovely wife Lorelei Leigh Gilmore Hayden Scott the third come up to the stage please." Marcus smirks. We make our way to the stage and gave them all hugs.

Tristan's POV

Rory and I were just announced as their heir and heiress. I'm completely shocked and I can see Rory is as well. We head to the stage and give them all hugs. They also asked if they could announce the pregnancy and we said they could.

"I'm so happy to be handing the company over to them. I asked my daughter Deb if we could announce them as our heirs. She said 'with Rory's talent our company will go above and beyond anyone's expectations' (Architecture their firm builds and designs buildings) Not only that Lorelei or as everyone calls her Rory has become like a granddaughter to me over the years. Now I am happy to announce that they are expecting their first child together. We couldn't be happier." Grandpa Janlan says with tears.

They pull her into a hug and she has tears in her eyes. We all leave the stage and head towards our family.

"Grandpa Janlan why did you name Tristan and I heir and heiress to your company?" Rory asked still in shock.

"Your both family and you'll take good care of the company." Uncle Marcus says smiling.

"They asked me my opinion and after what you did with the club it was a no brainer." Deb says smiling at me.

"Let's head to the bar and get a drink." Finn suggested we all made our way to the bar and not surprisingly Logan is there.

"Trouble ahead." She whispers. I look and ahead and see Logan.

We make it to the bar "Two club sodas please." I asked the bartender. He hands me the drinks and I walk the short distance to Rory.

"Incoming." She says as I hand her the drink. I wrap my arm around her. We watch as Logan makes his way towards us.

"Rory we are supposed to be engaged." Logan says.

"Logan your delusional we broke up like four years ago. Besides we would have never got married. Tristan was the only man for me. I have been in love with him since I was sixteen." She says and I smile.

"That's not true." Logan lies.

"Mate she dumped you when she caught you cheating." Finn says firmly.

"Besides it's true she's always loved Tristan and I knew this before you two even got together." Colin says with a smirk.

"You'll regret this." Logan threatens.

"Did you not hear my name I'm a Gilmore and a Hayden I'm more blue blooded than you and have more power, status, and money than you could ever want." She says sweetly to him.

We leave him to find and mingle with other guest. The others stayed with us at all times.

Rory's POV

As we walk and mingle we run into Steph. "Oh god Rory. You look so good. How are you?" She asked sincerely.

"I'm great. I'm a lawyer now. I have a wonderful family around me a wonderful husband and a baby on the way." I say sweetly.

"I'm so happy for you. I'm so glad you finally got your man." She says happily.

As we are about to say goodnight Shira and Mitchum come up to us. "Rory how are you?" Mitchum asked sincerely.

"I'm great you?" I asked.

"I'm doing well." He says.

"I see your at your whorish gold digging ways again." Shira sneers at me.

"Shira I'm doing great. You know as a Hayden and Gilmore the family business keeps me busy. Along with my other businesses and my books. Also my wonderful family and fantastic husband." I say ignoring her comment.

"Oh how rude of me. This is Keith, Dan, Deb, Nathan, Haley, Peyton, Brooke, Marvin, Antoine, and my wonderful husband Tristan." I add introducing everyone.

At this point several couples come up and are listening. Shira calling me names and me still being polite.

"Mmmm their just like you good for nothing." Shira says snidely.

"Excuse me Shira but I would say no such thing about her or them. You were a cocktail waitress." Mr Mills says.

"Do not disrespect her. You realize she has more money, status, and power than your family will never get." Finnegan says.

"Your only society because Mitchum knocked you up." Elias Huntzburger said with distaste.

"You are no longer invited to any Dugrey events again." Marcus says.

"Or Morgan's."Finnegan says.

"Or McCea."said Andrew.

"Or Vanderbilt." Mr vanderbilt said.

"Or Gellar." Paris says.

"Nor Hayden or Gilmore." I say. We all leave and head for the Hayden estate and go to sleep for the night.

Today was an exhausting day and I'm so glad that it was over.
