A new life

The results are in

Rory's POV

I look in the box and am scared at what I see. 

"What's wrong baby?" Tristan asks concerned and I point to the box and he looks inside. 

"What the hell?" He says angrily and pulls me in a hug.

"What's going on?" Karen asked concerned. 

"Mom He He He ." I start but can't finish as my tears turn to full sobbing. 

"What is it?" Nathan asks concerned. 

"There's some pictures of Rory. A note that says your mine and I'll find you and also black roses." Tristan explains to them. They go to the box and look at the pictures. 

"When were these pictures taken?" Paris asks concerned. 

"The night of my attack." I say. 

"Rory he didn't did he?" Nate asked worriedly. 

"What?" Brooke asks concerned. 

"There's something that you guys don't know." Keith says sighing. 

"What is it?" Dan asked worriedly. 

"Do you remember a few years ago I was gone for two months?" Keith asked them. 

"Yeah you said a emergency came up." Deb says thinking back.

"He was with me."I say sadly. 

"What happened?" Karen asked holding me also. 

"I was in the hospital." I say looking down. 

"What?" Dan yelled angrily. 

"It was a week after she buried her parents. Jess came back and they fought and he pushed her."Keith says. 

"I had a POA for her and had to give authorization." Paris says sadly. 

"Authorization for what?" Tristan asked concerned. 

"Emergency surgery, I broke a few ribs in the fall and I punctured my lung."I say. 

"When I got there I was informed she was in a coma. She was in the ICU on a breathing tube. She woke up two weeks later and she had no memory." Keith said with tears. 

"She had to relive the memory of losing her family and all of it." Mark says his voice cracking. 

"She regained her memory three weeks after she woke up. I was the first person she remembered. So I stayed close until it all came back." Keith said with tears. 

"After that she started law school that summer and pushed herself hard and graduated early. She wanted to be by Keith and her family where she was safe." Paris says. 

"Before her parents passed they knew of her intentions, as did her grandparents. They supported her and said they would keep where she was a secret and they would visit." Nate says. 

"I can't believe him." Nathan yells angrily. 

"By the way Finn and Colin will be here for the opening as well as their parents. They said they'll tell everyone their going away on business." I say and everyone nods. That night we all caught up on our lives and had a great time. The next morning Paris went to the hospital to look over the results, her colleague went over the results as well. What Nathan doesn't know is they also had a third opinion. That third opinion was the one and only Bobcats team doctor. That afternoon Paris handed me two envelopes and Nate gave me one from the team doctor. Turns out the owner of the team always wanted Nathan on the team but when he was injured he was shattered. Now that it's a possibility that Nathan could play again he wanted him on his team. Paris went back home and she said she would be back for the opening. That night at dinner I pulled Haley aside while Tristan distracted Nathan. 

"Haley I have the results." I say to her. 

"That's great." She says excited. 

"When should we tell him?" I asked her. 

"Let's order take out and do it as we eat that way he won't find anything suspicious." Haley says grinning evilly with a sparkle in her eye. She went back to Nathan and Tristan came to me and I told him what we decided on. I ordered a ton of Chinese and told everyone that we ordered take out. An hour later the food arrived and we all sat and started eating. 

"Nathan you nervous about the results?" Mark asked amused. 

"Yeah I am, I'm really anxious." He says as his voice cracks. 

"I'm sure it'll be fine." Haley says with a smirk. 

"Think positive." Keith says and winks at me. I smile behind my take out box as I watch Nathan carefully. I can tell that he was nervous as hell. What he doesn't realize is that I know what the results will be. I haven't looked at them yet but I have a feeling Nathan will be happy as hell. 

"I can't wait to hear the results." Skills says smiling. 

"By the way Karen the day of the club opening we're going shopping, having massages, hair nails, and make up done." I say. 

"Wow really?" Karen asks shocked. 

"Yeah I figured we need to look good for the night." I say smiling. 

"Ror are you going to sing? Are you going to make another album?" Keith says and my head whips towards him. 

"Crap, sorry Rory." Keith says feeling guilty. 

"You have an album?" Peyton asks shocked. 

"Yes, but we'll talk after. Hey Nathan?" I say smirking. 

"Yeah." Nathan asks looking at me. 

"The results are in." I say softly.
