This is kind of a sequel to a Taegi-centric fic of mine called Love is a bubble you can't pop. It isn't necessary to read that one first but there is a lot of cute Jikook shit there so if you wanna check it out, feel free to do so!

"More, hyungie! Faster, faster!"

Jungkook screams in delight as Jimin pushes the swing, sending the small three-year-old up into the sky again and again. Their giggles echo in the air like chiming bells. The sun is shining in the clear blue sky, clouds nowhere to be seen, not like the two children would pay any attention to their surroundings anyway. They are too immersed in each other.

"You're flying so up high, Kookie! You're a superhero!" Jimin giggles, using all of the strength in his small arms to push the swing as hard as he can. "You have to hold on tight! Just like I told you! Remember!"

Jimin had taught Jungkook how to use the big children's swing that day. The younger was excited and couldn't stay still when Jimin showed him how to move his legs to get the maximum speed. The two of them have come to the park along with Jungkook's father, Namjoon, who is in charge of looking after them for the day. Since the younger is a fast learner, it didn't take long until he got the hang of swinging. But remembering every single thing is still a task he wasn't able to complete. So, holding on tightly slips past his mind as his grip falters.

"Aah!" the small boy screams when he falls backward, tiny hands trying to grasp anything, but failing to reach on time. Jungkook falls to the ground on his back with a thud, leaving the swing rocking on its own.

"Kookie!" Jimin shouts, dashing to his smaller best friend and taking him into his arms, hugging him tightly, almost getting hit on the head by the moving swing.

"Jungkook!" Namjoon takes long strides from his seat toward the kids, stopping the swing before crouching down next to the two of them.

"Are you okay?" the adult asks, stroking his kid's hair, a worried expression on his face. Jungkook nods even though the other two can clearly see how he holds back his tears, his eyes are glossy and lips formed in a big pout like he tried to ignore the pain as if to show it didn't affect him.

"I-I'm f-f-fi-fine," he says, trying to wiggle out of Jimin's hug. He doesn't like being babied, he is a big boy. The elder loosens his grip but doesn't let him go, taking a hold of his chubby hand instead.

"Your hairpin!" Jimin then exclaims, reaching to the gravel to pick up the red accessory Jungkook wears to keep the hair out of his eyes. He brushes the younger's locks back and clips the pin, earning a small whine from him. "Come, Kookie, let's not swing anymore." Jimin helps him up and gives his cheek a soft, comforting kiss. "Look, the playhouse is free! Wanna go play?"

Jungkook nods, wiping his eyes with his palms to hide the evidence of crying. They run hand in hand toward the red playhouse that had been occupied by three little girls ever since they came to the park. Namjoon follows them, a smile playing on his lips as he sighs and rubs the back of his head. Seokjin is going to decapitate him when he hears that his small munchkin, cutie-pie, wiggle-bum, angel, fell from a swing.

The playhouse is big in Jungkook and Jimin's eyes. There are utensils made of plastic, a table and a few chairs around it. The curtains are closed so Jimin opens them, letting the sunlight into the small house. The wallpaper seems old, the design is probably from the 70's and it looks really tacky but it doesn't bother the children.
