I sat on the stool while looking at the three tubs filled with iced water where my friends are currently in. They've been underwater for a while now and they still hadn't woken up. I'm starting to get worried since Deaton told us that they were supposed to be dead for a few seconds only but nothing's happening.

"How long have they been underwater?" Isaac questioned Deaton who was in the room with us. Isaac was standing beside me, waiting just like the rest of us. Deaton was on the other side of the room, staring at the three tubs, and Lydia was outside.

Deaton turned his gaze to the clock then to us. "42 minutes."

I stared at him, looking quite taken aback. "42 minutes? You're kidding me right?" I asked him as I stood up from my seat. "You told us that they were only gonna be like that for a few seconds!" I raised my voice at him while gesturing to them.

I saw the surprised look on his face. A sigh escaped my lips as I looked down for a split second, feeling guilty that I snapped at him. "I'm sorry." I mumbled.

"It's alright." He told me as I looked up at him. He turned his gaze back to them. "Usually, it only takes a few seconds. If not seconds, then minutes." He explained. "Maybe they're having trouble looking for it."

"Can we do anything to help?" Isaac asked him.

"Right now? All we can do is wait but don't worry, they'll wake up soon." He assured.

A weary sigh escaped my lips as I leaned back in the chair. I rested my arm on the table beside me and drummed my fingertips on it. Something feels weird. I no longer feel my sister in pain. She can't be dead. If she was, then I would feel it too and it would hurt. A lot. Is it possible that she healed already? If it was, how?

"Cass," Isaac's voice snapped me out of my thoughts. "You okay? You look a little.." He paused, trying to find the right word. "worn out."

I nodded faintly. "I'm okay."

"When's the last time you slept?" Deaton asked me. I thought about the last time I've gotten some shuteye. It was probably the day before the school play. Before Cora got ill. Before we found out that Jennifer is the Darach.

"The day before the school play." I muttered.

Isaac looked taken aback. "Are you serious?" He questioned me. I only nodded in response seeing I'm quite surprised myself. That was days ago. No wonder I'm more cranky than usual.

"Maybe you should just get some sleep. Remember, it's a lunar eclipse tomorrow night." Deaton told me. "You know what happens to werewolves during the eclipse."

I fell silent for a few seconds before I spoke. "We lose all our powers." I looked up at him and glanced at Isaac who was looking at the floor.

"That's right and who knows what'll happen tomorrow night." Deaton said.
