I walked out of Cora's hospital room and went to find a vending machine to grab myself some snacks when I bumped into a disconcerted Stiles. I placed a hand on his chest to avoid colliding with his body. He looked at me, startled then let out a breath.

"Woah, chill." I told him. I furrowed my eyebrows at him. "What's wrong?"

He took a few deep breaths before answering me. "They figured it out." He told me. I looked at him confusedly. "Figured what out?"

"Who's gonna be the next sacrifice." He answered. I widened my eyes at what he said. "It's a teacher. Allison's dad has been tracking the killer and the next person that's gonna be taken is a teacher."

"Who?" I questioned.

He sighed. "We don't know. But all the teachers are going to the recital."

I grabbed his wrist. "Well, we better hurry then." Startled, he looked at me and stopped in his tracks. "W--wa-wait, what about your sister?"

"Stiles, I can't stay in this hospital any longer. If I did, then I'd have to start thinking and jumping to conclusions." My voice dropped to a whisper. "I don't want to do that. Atleast, not right now."

He looked at me with sympathy in his eyes. His eyes locked on his dad entering the hospital. It was clear he wanted to say something to him. "Stiles, go talk to your dad. I still have to inform Derek on all this." I told him as I started to walk away from him. "I'll meet you at your jeep." I called out to which he responded with a thumbs up before running to his dad.

I opened the door to Cora's room and saw my brother clutching Cora's hand. I walked towards him, looking at my sister's sleeping body. "Where have you been?" He asked me.

"I was talking to Stiles." I responded. He nodded his head then turned his head towards Cora. I took a deep breath before speaking again. "I'm going to the recital."

"What?"

I faced him. "Allison's dad has been tracking the killer and he said that the Darach's next victim is a teacher." I told him. "We're gonna catch the Darach and stop him from killing another person."

He sighed deeply and looked at me. I knew he didn't want me to leave, I can see it in his eyes, but he knows that whatever he'll say won't stop me from going. He stood up from the chair he was sitting on and walked closer to me. "Just be careful, okay? I don't want another one of my sisters to wind up on another one of those hospital beds." He told me, letting out a half-hearted laugh.

I smiled faintly at him and nodded in reply. "I got to go, Stiles is waiting for me at the parking lot." I told him. He nodded his head as I went out of the room and walked towards the parking lot where I saw Stiles sitting in the driver's seat of his jeep. I slid into the passenger's seat as he started to drive towards the school.

The whole ride to the school was silent. No words were exchanged between Stiles and me, probably because we've got a lot on our minds. He reeks of anxiety, a lot more than usual. I kept on thinking about what's happening to my sister. This hasn't happened before. I've seen her heal from wounds way worse than that. She's on a lot of pain right now, I don't understand why she isn't healing. There's also this feeling like something bad will happen, not just to me, but everyone close to me.

I snapped out of my thoughts when I realized that we're in school. I hopped out of the jeep and followed Stiles inside the auditorium. We squeezed our way into the group of people on the door when my eyes landed on Scott. Stiles and I walked over to him. His eyes locked on mine as he gave me a small smile. I forced a smile and watched the performance. Everything seemed normal. The Darach wouldn't do something in front of these many people. Maybe he won't do something tonight. Maybe everything's gonna be alright.
