*Driving to the cabin*

It was cold.I looked out the window,trees,trees,and oh look,more trees.We sat in silence,occasionally he smiled at me. "Nat?" "Yeah?" "Daniel's not looking for you,he's looking for me.You could just go and live your life." He brought the car to a stop,and he looked at me,"Maria,I would die a hundred times if it means keeping you safe.Daniel won't get ot us."A tear ran down my cheek as i basically whispered,"You don't know what hes capable of." Nat was clearly confused.

"What do you mean i don't know what he's capable of?" She looked down at her hands as she slowly lifted her left sleeve she did it ever so carefully.She pointed to a pretty bad scar on her arm.It was a cut scar and it looked pretty bad.She spoke softly,"He did that." I held her close but she was shaking,"He wont hurt you ever again,I promise."I pulled a blanket over her.She cuddled up with the blanket and she was truly adorable.How was daniel capable of hurting her the way he did?How could anyone hurt her?

Nat's great with me,he's everything Daniel never was.Sweet,loyal,and caring.Daniel was a whole different story,mean,distrustful,and violent....he was terrible.He was very short tempered.I lied to Nat,Daniel had hit me since the begging.Once i got him the wrong kind of soda,he threw it at me,and i ended up in the hospital with a concusion.I "fell of my skateboard" he told the doctors.He was the worst,but i was glad i didnt have to deal with him anymore.My eyes felt heavy and i slowly drifted to sleep.
