Chapter 6

Nat

As we pulled up to the cabin,i noticed she was asleep.She looked peaceful.I quickly got out of the car and got her bag.I went into the cabin and set her bag down,then went and got her.I picked her up trying not to wake her,"Nat,i can walk on my own." I smiled at her sleepy voice. "Yes you can,but you looked so comfortable." She smiled as i set her down and we walked into the cabin.I lit the fire,i had to admit and she was shaking.Was she scared?Was she cold?Both maybe?Once i got the fire going i sat next to her,and she cuddled up against me."Babe,your ice cold."She nodded as i got up and got more blankets for her."I cant stop shaking,"she said.I wrapped my arm around her and once again she snuggled me.I hoped we would be safe."Nat,how long will we stay here?" I shrugged,"Until jack gives us the ok i guess." How long would that be,well it was pretty cold.We we're in Yosemite,or near there.There was a small town,we could get stuff there i just didnt know if Daniel would come and find us.

Maria

I was cold,really cold.I felt the warth and started to warm up.I couldn't stop shaking,i was scared for Nat.He doesnt know how Daniel is.His body was arm and he smiled at me,"Are you warming up?"I smiled and kissed his cheek."Yes,thank you for keep ing me warm." He got up and headed for the kitchen,"Do you want some hot cocoa?" I nodded,"Yes please."He smiled and started to make the hot cocoa.I looked at my phone,Mia had texted me.

Mia:Maria,where hare you daniel needs to talk to you

Me:I don't wanna talk to him,do you even know what he did to me?!

Mia:Yes,Maria.He's really sorry he was just upset.It was a one time thing.he won't do it again

Me:Oh yeah!WAS IT A ONE TIME THING A YEAR AGO,WAS IT A ONE TIME THING 6 MONTHS AGO,WAS IT A ONE TIME THING LAST WEEK.MIA,HE'S A MONSTER!! 

There was no reply.I felt tears run down my cheeks,i can't believe she was on his side.She was supposed to be my friend and she took that animal's side on this.Even though i never confronted her for kissing my boyfriend.Mia was the enemy now,and she was no longer my friend.I felt the tears stream down my cheeks faster.I heard Nat walk in.

Nat

I walked into the living room when i see tears streaming down her cheeks.i set the cocoa on the coffe table and hugged her,"What happen,is it Daniel again?" She shook her head and showed me some messages between her and her friend Mia.What is this bitch trying to get her killed!She took a breath,"I never said anything but i once caught her and Daniel making out,i ignored it and never payed attention to it."I sighed and i hugged her."Its ok,he wont find you."i held her and she rested her head on my chest and we slowly fell asleep.
