Chapter 12

Ok,Hey guys. This is the new chapter,today's chapter was brought to you by larose0505.I hope you guys enjoy this.This is the hardest yet best chapter I've had to write.I hope you guys like it as much as i do.

Maria

*2pm in the cabin*

"Now Maria,you're going to have to tell us what happened when Daniel kidnapped you." I gulped,I got flashbacks from from the inccident. I felt my heart begin to pound intensely in my chest."Well...I was in Curryville when..." I felt my breathing speed up,my body went cold,and I wasn't even able to speak. "I'm sry,I-I just can't do this." I stood up and walked away with this stupid fucking cast.I went into Nat and I's room. I can't do this.

Nat

"Excuse me for a moment." They nodded as i stood and went to look for Maria. I saw she was curled up into a semi ball on the bed. I sat next to her,I could see tears run down her cheeks as she held her good knee to her chest. "Maria." She looked up at me,"Nat,I can't do this." She buried her face into her arms. I lifted her chin up,"Yes you can,you can't let them control you like this." She looked at me as I wiped her tears. "You are amazing. Daniel was a complete asshole to you and he deserves to be put behind bars. Mia was a close friend to you,but she choice that douchebag over you. They both don't deserve to be free,and I'll be here with you every step of the way. I understand but it's the best thing to do and we'll all be here for you."

Maria

Nat was right,I can't let them control me. They have to pay,for my broken leg,for these stiches,they have to pay for everything. I looked at Nat and nodded,"I'm ready,I'm ready to end this." Nat smiled and kissed my forehead. He helped me up as we walked out to the living room. I saw Jack,he was going to testify with me. I sat between Nat and Jack as the lawyers awaited to hear my story. I took Nat's hand in mine for reassurance,and I took Jack's to let him know we stand together. I looked at the lawyers as i told them the story,all in detail.

Once my story came to an end I felt tears slide down my cheeks. The laywers whispered amoung themselves. "Well Mr.Wolff and Miss.Ambriz,we can help you. We're just not so sure if you can help Mr.Jack Hernandez." I heard Jack gulp. "W-Why not?" The lawyers sighed,"You told Daniel Cuevas where he could find Maria and Nat." "But they kicked his ass,they threatened him,you have to help him!" I was so upset. "Maria,we're trying everythig we can to help him." I sighed as i hugged Jack,I'm scared for him.

Nat

I led the lawyers to the door as Maria stayed with Jack. "We'll let you know if we find anything that can help Jack." I nodded,"Thank you." As i walked back,Iwent into the kitchen to get something to drink. I saw something move,it was Michelle."Where you there the whole time?" MIchelle looked scared,"Yes i was." I sighed as I led her to the living room. Maria quickly wiper her tears as i motioned for Michelle to sit. I took a seat next to Maria,"Michelle over heard our meeting with the lawyers." Maria took a deep breath. "Maria,why did he do that to you?" Maria shrugged and smiled a bit,"He couldnt accept the fact i fell in love with Nat." I held her hand as Michelle looked down,"I'm gonna go back to my room." I nodded and she left."Guys,im gonna head on home." "Sounds good Jack." Maria stood and hugged him,"I love you cousin." He smilled a bit,"I love you too cousin." Even i hugged Jack,"Take care pal." He nodded,"You too." With that,he left.

Maria

I fixed myself onto the couch as Nat held me.He ran His hand through my hair,"You did great today,I'm proud of you." I held his free hand,"I'm scared for Jack,he doesn't deserve to go down for what they did." He nodded,"I know,the lawyers are gonna do anything they can to get him free babe,I promise." I nodded as u cuddle up next to him. He smiled slightly as he felt the tiredness in my nod.

Nat
She fell asleep in my lap. I gently picked her up and walked into our room. I laid her down ever so gently and I admired her. She was so strong. I loved how she was dealing with this. I felt just as tired as I cuddled up next to her and slowly drifted to sleep.
