"Wait, what? How can Lukass be the cause of the argument?; she hasn't even met him?" Andy huffed, reaching out to squeeze his friend's knee in comfort.

"She was saying that-" Jinxx took a deep breath, steadying himself and attempting to quickly pull himself together "that we're being unfair to her. Basically, it was going fine but then I mentioned Lukass living here and she was all 'you're kidding me, right?' And I was like 'no, why would I be?' And then she like, exploded, saying 'oh so you won't let me move in, even though I've been your girlfriend for ages, yet you’ll let him move in, even though you’ve only known him for like two months!’ and I said ‘it’s different, he has nowhere else to go!’ And she was all ‘he doesn’t deserve to be here’ and just… urgh!”

Jinxx dropped his head into his hands, exhaling loudly with stress.

Reaching out, Andy squeezed his knee in an attempt to comfort his friend.

“It’ll be okay, she’ll come around. She just needs to calm down” Andy reasoned.

“It’s just un-necessary stress the second we come back from tour, you know? I thought she’d be more pleased to see me…”

As Andy and Jinxx talked it became more and more clear what I had to do; I had to fix this. Even though it wasn’t directly my fault, it wouldn’t have happened if I wasn’t here, and I didn’t think she’d be willing to talk it out with Jinxx right now.

As a plan formed in my mind, I used Andy’s distracted state to slip out of the room and into the hallway.

On top of the keys table in the hallway was a black iPhone – exactly what I was hoping for. Jinxx had a habit of leaving it there when he came in the door and removed it and his keys from his jacket pocket.

I felt kind of guilty for what I was about to do, but I knew it was for the greater good. Besides, I only needed a number off it. I wouldn’t even be using it for that long.

Picking the iPhone up, I swiped my finger across the screen to unlock it; thankfully, Jinxx didn’t have a pass code lock on his phone, That would’ve really foiled this whole plan.

I started to scroll through his contacts, stopping when I got to ‘Sammi <3’. Taking out my own phone (which was a crappy old Nokia, by the way. It was the only pay-as-you-go phone I could afford back when I lived with my dad and I had to save up for quite a long time just to collect the $20 for it) I unlocked it and typed the number into the dialpad.

After I double checked I’d typed it correctly, I locked Jinxx’s phone again and set it back on the side before making my way to the garden.

Being back by the pool again made me blush slightly; I had a strong feeling the memories of what Andy and I did here would always re-surface when I came out here.

I took a seat on one of the sunbeds, staring down at the phone in my hands.

Do I… Don’t I… Do I…?

Taking a deeper breath, I remembered I was doing this to help Jinxx; despite knowing this wouldn’t be a pleasant conversation, I had to try and help.

Without giving myself longer to internally dispute this, I hit the green call button and held the phone up to my hear.

Here goes nothing…

HELLO! I'M BACK!

Sorry I've been gone so long and this update is so short, but I've been stuck in exam season >.< The good news is, that I only have 1 more exam left and no lessons, so I can update so much more frequently now! No more waiting months for an update of 600 words! (once again, I'm sorry) this story can progress and the chapters will be better because I'm not rushing to write and the stuff that I have coming up in a few chapters time... you're all gonna flip your shit... especially since (and here's the best bit) you guys are gonna make a decision that decides the fate of the story! (dun dun dun!) I'm not sure whether I'll just say 'pick a or b' or actually give you options, but either way is gonna be fun as fuck.

So yeah! If you are still with me, bless your sould and thank you very much!
