Accidental Hide and Seek

As I hung up the phone, I was left kind of confused as to how well it went. Part of me wanted to crawl up to my room and licked the metophorical wounds I'd got from Sammi shouting at me; the other part of me wanted to count it as a success considering she did eventually listen to me. Essentially, it could have gone a lot better, but it also could've gone a lot worse.  

I let out a sigh as I thought back on the conversation. I think I just about calmed her down and made her see sense.

In my hand, my phone started ringing. I smiled as 'Andyyy <3' flashed up on the screen and quickly clicked the green accept button.

"Heyy-ooo, baby" I hummed, slightly confused as to why he was calling me when I was only sitting in the garden. Then again, Andy has been known to text me when I was only across the room to ask me to make him coffee.

"Lukass?! Where did you go? I've been calling you for like twenty minutes!" he exclaimed.

"I was in the garden, by the pool" I responded, confused at his panic.

"What? Oh, um, well that's okay then... I'll... hang on". A beep signalled that he'd hung up his phone. Soon after, I heard the clap of boots on marble flooring, signalling that someone was running out into the back garden.

From behind, I felt arms wrap around me and lips press to the back of my neck, making me giglgle slightly.

"Here you are" Andy murmured into my skin, sitting down behind me and stretching out his legs in a v shape, so one was either side of me.

Looping his arms around my waist so I was pulled back against his chest, he moved his lips to my ear.

"I thought you'd run away or some shit; I couldn't get through to your phone" he whispered.

"Run away? Why would I do that?" I questioned, tiliting my head back so Icould press a kiss to his neck.

"I don't know, Jinxx thought it might be because you felt guilty about the argument - totally not your fault, by the way". 

"No, actually, um, I was out here because of that." It only then occured to me that Jinxx may not have wanted me to talk to Sammi. Too late now, though, and I think I made the situation at least a little better; she listened to the reasoning and seemed to calm down a bit, at least. "I rung Sammi".

"You what? How'd you do that?" he asked, his voice sounding a mix of confused and slightly amused.

"I.. um.. got the number from Jinxx's phone... I know I should have asked but I wanted to try and like, resolve the problem since it is kinda my fault. But yeah, I calmed her down a bit and, like, tried to explain the situation to her. I know I don't really know anything about Jinxx and Sammi and why she can't stay here, I know why I am, so I told her about that and she was like 'I guess I understand why you're staying there, then. But it is frustrating for me, you know? When other people are allowed to move in and I'm not. But I do get that I have my own place'". I shifted slightly between Andy's legs so I could twist around and look at him. "She did calm down; I think she's less angry about it now. I just didn't want her mad at Jinxx".

Within a second of me finishing talking, Andy pulled me backwards so I was lying back on his leg in the v shaped gap created between his body and his leg (which was now bent at the knee and pulled towards his body slightly to create said v).

Ducking his head, he bent down - slightly awkwardly due to position - to firmly press his mouth to mine.

"That was so sweet of you, Lu. Seriously, it's so kind of you to try and make things better" he smiled down at me.

I chuckled quietly, staring up into his blue eyes.

"That's okay. However! If you ever call me 'Lu' again I will have to file for divorce. Just sayin' " I joked, smiling widely at his exaggarated sad face.

"Divorce?? Noooooooo! Wait... when did we get married?" he gasped jokingly.

"Remember the other week when I was eating Haribo? And you went, 'gimme some' and I handed you a single gummie ring to be mean? Yeah, that was a proposal".

"Wait, what about a proposal?!" I heard Jinxx exclaim from behind us, obviously having just walked out and only heard the last few words.

"Apparently Lukass and I are married. It's official as fuck, as well. Haribo ring proposals are proposals that cannot be taken as a joke" Andy replied, absentmindedly trailing his fingertips over the fabric of my t-shirt. My stomach was still quite flat, but not unhealthly so, anymore - thank God. I still wanted to put on a little bit more weight, but I was quite pleased that I hade a healthier figure now. I remember back when we were on tour, and CC was tickling me and saw how shockingly skinny I was due to not being fed properly. That wasn't a great moment; at least I was in better shape now.

"Yeah! Obviously! By the way, Andy, we better be having the ceremony at Lego Land or I'm calling the whole thing off" I commented, catching Jinxx bemusedly shaking his head out of the corner of my eye.

"Fussy one, you are" Andy tutted, shifting so we were both sitting up again. "Anywayyy. Hi Jinxx, look who I found".

As the attention shifted to him, Jinxx stepped closer, crouching to sit next to us.

"Strange Lego Land gay weddings aside... I came out here to say thanks, Lukass. I've just been on the phone to Sammi, trying to talk stuff out. She said you called her and explained a bit; got her to calm down. Thank you, mate, seriously" he leant forward and pulled me into a hug. "Now, who's up for celebratory Dominos?" he cheered.

"Me!" I replied at the same time as Andy said "Oh Jake will be delighted! Speaking of the Devils, where are those turds?"

"Ha! And they went to get some groceries. Well, that's what they said; pretty sure they just made up an excuse to leave since Sammi and I were arguing and it was hella awkward for them" he responded whilst clambering to his feet.

Andy and I followed suit and togather we all headed back inside.

That was when I realised what Jinxx had just said.

"Jinxx... Did you really just say 'hella'?".

Andy and Jinxx just started laughing.
