*One Week Later*

I wake up to feel Tobias getting out of bed (I slept in his room again last night.) I was about to go back to sleep when I realised that I had to start work today. Suddenly a wave of anxiety swept over me, but I pushed it away. "Morning." I said to Tobias.

"Morning" He replied. "I'm just going to have a shower ok?"

"Sure, I'll go get ready in my room." I said and he walked into the bathroom, and I walked away down the hall.

Once in my room I showered and got dressed im a black t-sirt and skinny jeans. I pulled my combat boots on and met Tobias in the hallway. We decided we would walk together today, as the control room is close to the meeting room and leader's offices. It makes sense really. The leaders can easily get there to monitor anything, or for any other reason they'd like really. Too soon, we arrived and Tobias bent down and kissed me. I kissed back, and he whispered "You'll be fine." Of course he could tell I was nervous. But he knew just what to say. I gave him a quick hug and he walked into the control room leaving me wondering what door to go into.

I recalled something about the meeting room, so I went and knocked on the door. Eric answered. "Come in." He said with fake happiness. He dosen't have the most authority here, and if I'm being honest, that made me happier. I walked in and Max is sitting there.

"Hello Tris. Welcome, there's really not much to teach you in your position for now. You just need to attend meetings and we will give you jobs as they come." He says, and he seems friendly. "Eric, show Tris her new office."

I try to banish the smile that is creeping onto my face seeing Eric be pushed around like this. He leads the way out the door, and takes me futher down the hallway. We stop next to what seems to be just wall, when suddely Eric presses a rock in. It revels a scanner of some type and Eric puts his hand on it. It turns green and he tells it some commands I don't quite catch. He then tells me to put my hand on the scanner and explains that he's setting it up to allow me to get in. I place my hand on the scanner and after a while it turns green again. Suddely rock shifts aside to reveal a door Eric pull it open and I follow him into a spacious looking room. It has a bookshelf in one corner, and a giant desk in another which has what I recall is called a computer on it. Eric goes over the basics on how to use the computer then leaves me. The door and rocks slide shut behing him but I'm not worried. I'm not sure what to do so for the rest of the day I practice using the computer, and make several useless documents on it.
