Chapter 6
Clarissa's P.O.V
After the talent show, Alec, Magnus, Jace , Sabrina, Aria and I went back stage to meet Maryse. I saw her as we opened the door, she was talking with a taller man. She turned around and scremed with joy. We ran over to Alec and rapped her arms around him. She looked at Aria. then looekd at Jace.
"You adopted two?!" she asked. He shook his head and pointed at Magnus and Alec.
"Suprise!" Alec said. Then she hugged Magnus and tugged Alec in for a a group hug. She pushed them a part.
"I am so happy and proud with all of you!" She said.
"Clary why are you hiding over there get over here"He yelled at me. I walked over to ther and she graced me in her arms. Since when was she so jolly. I guess since Robert died a couple of years go she was torn apart. Right now i think she's just hiding her feelings and living life as it is.
"I'll see you guys soon" She said going out another door.
"We can arrange something!" She screamed. Then she was out the door. We all looked at each other and said our goodbyes. We left the school and went back home.
As soon as i opened the door i grabbed Sabrinas hand before she can get to her room.I walked her over to the living room and she slouched onto the couch.
"Tell us now!" Jace demanded.
"I can only tell you one thing right now, but the other part we're going to have to go somewhere safe. And not come back. We need to bring everyone with us. No will shall know except for thoes i say!" Sabrina stated.
"Ok , spit out everything you can say." I demended.
"Ok, i'm not a Knowles i am a full Carstairs. I am the Daughter of James Carstairs and Tessa Gray" Sabrina said.
"Why have you kept that a secret? and how about the knowls family or your fake parents?" I asked
"They actually died but Emma is not my aunt, and her sister was my fake mom. The Clave said that it would be perfect for me to pretend that i was part of their family and when they died i became an orfan. Then i came to The Adoption center and stated there for my whole life. " She paused.
"What happened to Tessa and James?" Jace asked.
"They were good people" I stated. I remember going to their weddings. Such a wonderful couple.
"They died trying to ... Call Magnus and tell him to bring Alec and Aria, and call Simon and Isabelle and tell them that they can't work at the adoption center anymore, also that they have to bring Daniel. " she stated.
"And that they are not going back home so they have to bring all there stuff" She said pointing her finger at Jace.
"And Clary , find a place where we can all live. Some where safe. Just not in Idris. I know that your prents live in Brooklyn. We can stay there for a while. Right?" She stated.
"I guess we can" I stated.
"Ok Pack your stuff!" She demanded.
"woah , woah ,woah. What happened? how did they die?" Jace yelled. She walked over to the stairs and stopped when she heard his question.
"Sabrina! Tell us what happened..."I demanded. She turned back towards us.
"They died trying to find the Fourth Mortal Instrument" She said.
"Sabrina! Dont start being Sarcastic , now is not the time" Jace stated.
"Now is not the time to not belive what i say!" She yelled.
*2 hours later*
"the fourth Mortal Instrument!?" Alec yelled.
"How the hell is that possible!?" Isabelle asked.
"I dont know!" Jace yelled trying to top all their voices. I looked at Magnus who was sitting there on the couch not saying anything, just watching us yell and scream.
"Magnus! do you know anything?" I asked. He looked at us all , and the room went silent.
"I didn't think it was true. 1 year after the wedding they left telling me they had a child a couple of years back and she was in the adoption center, then they left . The last time i spoke to them was 2 years after they left. They said they weren't coming back. And thats the last i heard from them. They said they were in Greece, in a hidden institute that was shut down by the Clave" Magnus stated. He looked very tierd and upset.
"Are you kidding me Magnus!"Alec yelled. I looked behind me as they faught, i saw Daniel and Sabrina watching them argue, it so cute how Daniel had his arm around her shoulder. I smiled and looked back at them.
"I'm sorry , do you expect me to tell you about that! How can i tell anyone! I can't even tell my own Mother or Father!" He yelled. Aria stood inbetween them as they faught. She looked pretty sad. Me and Aria's eyes locked. She stood there for a second and ran off. I began to chase after her. As i got between Magnus and Alec i looked at both of them.
"She a young teenage girl , she thinks she's coming into a nice family. Dont fight infront of her, she will be bruised and scarred for ever" I said. I ran after her. She dissapered for a second until i heard a closet door close.
"JACE ! She's in the closet!" I yelled. She can't go down there. he came running after me as i followed her down. Then i heard a loud scream. But it wasn't because she was scared. She was shocked.
"Is that the actuall mortal cup?!" She screamed.
"No" I lied. She walked over to it to check it out. I grabbed her by the arm.
"Don't touch it!" I said with a sharp voice. She stepped back.
"It'll be safer with my parents! Lets go now! We can stay at the New York institute for one night. Magnus! Come down here" I yelled. I heared him running down the steps along with Alec.
"Open a portal now !"I demanded. Alec went up and down the stairs bringing the luggages down , and Jace helped. In five minutes every one had their luggages in their hands.
"Everyone go to the New York Institute! thats the only place we will all be safe. I will go to my parents house to drop off the Cup. We will stay in the New York Institute for one night, do not unpack. Dont occupie any space. The next night we will move to the abandoned Institute in Athens, Greece." I camanded. Everyone agreed and nodded their heads. I heard loud clattering. I looked at Jace.
"What? I bring these everywhere" Jace said. I looked down and noticed that in his hands, were two bags of swords and seraph blades. Everyone paired up.

I looked at them all and nodded my head. They all went through the portal. Aftter they were gone. I ran upstairs and closed everysingle window, every door and locked up the front door. I ran back downstairs before the portal can close. I grabbed my bags. Took a deep breath, and went through the portal.
