Chapter 23
Sabrina's P.O.V
I stood from my feet , as of everyone else did. We ran after the guys trying to catch them and stop them from killing each other. The thing is , it's a fair fight, Alec had been teaching Magnus how to fight like a shadowhunter. Everyone had already been downstairs but I took my time. When I reached the first flight of stairs the window was open and the sunrays had beamed into my eyes. And I stumbled as I went down the last amount of steps of the stairs.
I walked over to the door but when I opened the door a huge force had put its weight on me, sending me flying across the room and slamming my back onto the wall. I felt an extra force land on me as I slid down the wall. I opened my eyes and realized all the smoke surrounding me. I heard people calling my name but also the ringing in my ear. I turned to my right and saw a man in uniform, for a second I thought it was Jace; the long hair pale ish skin. It looked like him but when this man stood up he looked like some kind of superhero. I knew him , I recognized him. He turned around and lent out a hand.
"I'm very sorry my dear. What's your name?" He asked helping my up , as I took his hand he seemed taller than I thought.
"My name is Sabrina. Your Thor aren't you?" I asked. I remember him now.
"Yes" He said. He smiled and I just ran off out the door. I felt someone tap my back. I turned around and it was Thor. Holding his mallet in one hand and my sword in the other.
"Thanks" I said taking my sword. I didn't even know I was holding it. I looked around and my ears were still ringing. I walked towards everyone till I noticed that the one who had thrown him at me was Hulk. I went upto him. We were standing right infront of each other. He leaned down and roard in my face. I shook my head and took a mint out of my pocket and popped it into his mouth. He stepped back , choaking on the mint and spat it across the road.
"Well, you needed that. And what in the world gave you the right to throw him right at me ?!" I yelled. He tapped my head with his hand and went behind me. I scuffed and turned around and lunged at his back. I began punching his head as I used my feet as support , rapped around his waist to hold me up.
"I'd. Like. A . Sorry.!" I yelled punching his head. I've never gotten this mad before. I don't know what has gotten into me. He growled and took a hold of my feet and threw me over his head.I landed on my feet and lunged at him again but Jace held my waists, holding me back.
"Hulk , would you calm down?! You almost killed the girl!" Black Widow said. She was dressed in a cool looking black jumpsuit and her red short hair cuffed her head perfectly. Now Hulk on the other hand , was green ,muscular and was wearing tight ripped up pants. He growled at her and went towards their big ship.
"Trust me , if I had a couple of more seconds I wouldn't be the one dead" I yelled. He turned around and laughed at my threat. I pushed Jace off of me but then Clary tried to grab a hold of me.
"oh so you wanna fight now? Huh!? I swear to god! I can kill you no matter what!" I yelled stepping towards him , while dodging everyone who tried to stop me. I heard the suction sounds as I stepped in a pile of gew. And I noticed that the dark clouds were flowing ahead of the sun. And it later became night. The Avengers began to look around and everyone else took out their weapons.
"Aria! Get back inside , I don't want you getting hurt!" I yelled. I couldn't see her. But everyone was scanning the area. Then I noticed Magnus was also gone.
"Where is Magnus and Aria!?"I yelled. Everyone searched for them.
"I found them!" Max yelled. I followed his voice and so did everyone else. I heard mumbling and exaguration and screaming. I came across the end of the road and noticed their was a large demon hovering over their bodies. They were ingured but then I fealt the parabiti rune begin to fade. It scard me as I began to walk closer and closer. Everyone tried to fight the Demon. It was 20 feet tall with gew dripping from it's mouth. Teeth that were too big and sharp for it to even shut it's mouth. The scales on it's body made it look like an alligator. The houses around us were all closed doors. But they were open ealier. That why I thought they had been evacuated.
I ran out to Magnus and Aria. The demon was distracted by everyone else. I herd Mia scream as she was launched across the road. Probably all the way back to the house. Then there was Jace , Clary and Isabelle who were fighting the hardest. I check Magnus for a pulse but there was a beat. I checked Aria. And there was nothing. I heard Magnus awaken and that's when I new what I had to do. She was too young she can't die.
"We have to swap souls. She can't die. She's 12 I'm fourteen no big whoop but I can't see my bestfriend die right here in front of me." I called out. Magnus jumped to my side and shook his head in confusion.
"You don't have to do this. Who else will bring everyone else back to life?!" He yelled.
"Jace can do it!" I yelled. Max and Annabelle instantly ran by my side and she shook her head.
"You don't have to be alive to do it. You can be baried anywhere but the City of bones and you'd be able to bring someone to life. But the spell can't be done. You are not strong enough of a Warlock to do it. You can kill your self doing this" Annabelle stated. I looked at her . Her face was full of confidence. I turned to Magnus whom had been stroaking Aria's hair as he cried. I thought and though about what I was going to do. Until I heard a voices in my head.
Sabrina... We are closer than you think. Do you remember anything odd from the house. You can take my soul. It's me. Your mother. Go back to the house. Think. Think about what you found odd in that house
Thoughts ran through my head. Then I remembered.
