Chapter 1
Sabrina P.O.V
As i was running towards the door i looked back to see if they were catching up with me. But they were talking with Isabelle and Simon.
"HEY C'MON!" I yelled. They looked back at me and turned back to them. They waved at Isabelle and Simon as they were walking towards me.
I can't belive tomorrow i will be a Herondale. I know that i am 14 and like most teenagers who have had a life like mine, would be scared and nervouse. But, i'm not like that. What ever i can get, i will be gratefull for. Tomorrow i will be The Daughter of Jace and Clarissa or Clary Herondale. That's just a dream come true. I can't wait to tell everyone at dinner tonight. Even my bestfriend, well i have feelings for him ,but he doesn't know that, at least i think he doesn't. Wait, how about my Parabiti. I can't leave her behind.
At that moment, i jumped back as a hand rested on my shoulder.
" So let's go pack" Jace said as i turned around. I looked at Clary and she was happily smiling at me. I began pacing back and forth and stopped right infront of them. I began to bite my nails. a little bit as i stared at the ground , thinking of a plan.
"Do you know anyone else? like another couple?" I asked.
"Plenty , Why?" Jace laughed.
"I can't leave my Parabiti behind" I said in a sharp voice. Clary laughed and so did Jace. Jace pulled his phone out of his back pocket and began to diel a number. With-in a couple of seconds the person he called picked up.
"Hey ,Alec, i need you to come to 'Idris' and come to the adoption place. Bring Magnus with you. " He demanded. He hung up the phone and put it back in his back poket as he told Clary something.
"They'll be here in a minute, at the front door. When we hear a scream they'll be here" Jace said. Clary laughed. And they began to walk down to the front desk. Clary stopped and turned around to me.
"How about you go talk with your Parabiti!" She yelled. I put on a bright smile on my face and quickly ran past by them doing a flip over the stairs to the bottom. Then i heard a loud scream. Yay, their here. Alec, where have i heard that name. OH yeah!, he is Jace's step brother. And he is dateing a warlock. I learned about them at school. I am in the family of Alicante, Idris celebs now. What a day.
Instead of going to Aria, i went to the front desk. At the front door were to men. One taller than the other. The taller one had very sparkly and shinny hair and had a very colorfull style. But the other one , had black and and blue eyes. He had more of a goth, punk style. Infront of them was isabelle running up to them for a big hug. I just stood there as they greeted eachother. Then two people bumped into me from behind. I truned around , and it was just Clary and Jace. Jace gestured his hand towards them.
"JACE!" Alec yelled. He ran over to him and they both gripped each other as tight as they could. He let go and patted his shoulder as they conversated about something i didn't understand. He must have asked. Why he was called over here.
"Who is this?" Alec asked bowing down to my level. I gave him a hug. I didn't expect to do that myself.
"Your niece" Clary said. Then Alec and Magnus started to laugh. Until they noticed the look in Clary and Jace's eyes and they all had a second round of hugs. This is the thing about big familys, you dont know if you hugged and greeted the person more than once since there are so many people.
"So you just adopted her today?" Alec asked, putting his hand over my shoulder.
"Yes, we did, we can take her home tomorrow, Right Simon?" Clary asked.
