Chapter 21
Sabrina's P.O.V
We all just sat still and talked all night waiting for the Avengers, and the X-Men. I looked around and realized Magnus never came back.
"Where's Magnus?" I asked. Everyone looked around .
" I dont know" Clary said , shrugging her shoulder. Tony ,Scott and Logan sat in the back of the room talking and looking like they were about to kill each other. Jace and Clary were laughing and talking. Aria was laughign with Max, and Simon and Isabelle were sleeping. Maia was fiddling with a peice of white string. I snuck out of my bed and left the room. I saw Jane standing at the door. I just continued walking around the house. As i went down the stairs there were so many thing on the wall; pictures of a family, and pictures that seemed older. I brushed my finger against the wall and ruffled my fingers letting the flakes of dust fall.
This place has been abounded for longer than i thought
I stumbled on the last steps then i took a long glance at the painting next to me. I stared into the photo. There was a woman with dark brown hair, and a man with white hair. Not white hair as in he was old. But it was a light shade of white. They were standing side by side, looking happy as ever. Along their arms were scattered Shadowhunter ruins. They were both holding one child. It was a little girl with long brown hair. In the background was the room i had been in upstairs. The chandelier, in the exact same spot, the bed, desk, sofa, chair. Everything exactly the same. Even the window; perfectly shining into the room.
Then i realized one thing. The little girl had been wearing a dress, and it showed her shoulders. I slid one sleeve of my shirt down so my shoulder would be visible. I looked down at my shoulder then the picture. I have the same scar. I was told i got it from when i was running in the woods alone. Thats just what the inquisitor told me. I had the exact same scar as the girl in the picture.
Oh My God ... Thats me ...
