Chapter 8
Jace's P.O.V
We walked up the stairs and i went to show the kids their rooms. First i gave Daniel his room which was the first door to the right of the hall way, Then it went down to Aria's room and after was Sabrina's room. Magnus and Alec slept in the room that was infront of Aria's, Simon & Isabelle were in front of Daniels from , and Clary and I were infront of of Sabrina's room.
"Jace!" Sebastian called. I turned around to see him running towards me. He looked very different. His eyes were a dark brown just like his hair but there was a bit of red. I sighed with exaustion.
"Yes, Sebastian" I answered.
"Can i speak with you in Clary in Hodge's old office" He called. I looked at Clary and she looked at me.
"Sure thing"She said. He nodded his head and began to walk down the hall way as he passed by us. I looked at him and Clary & I walked hand in hand to Hodge's old office.
As soon as we came across hodges office Sebastian opened the door for us and he folowed us in. We all sat in the 12 person table. Clary and i sat together on one side and sebastian sat across from us.
"Ok, what do you want to talk to us about?" I heard someone at the door. The door swung open and Luke and Joclyn came through.
"Hey guys!" Clary yelled. The ran down the stairs to greet us. Clary and I both gave them a hug and they noticed Sebastian, but i dont think tey knew it was him.
"Who is this?" Joclyn said walking towards him . She shook his hand.
"My name is Johnathan or Sebastian" He said. Joclyn gasped and stepped back. Lukes claws grew out from his finger tips.
"Guys stop!" Clary yelled. Joclyn and Luke looked at her with confusion.
"Luke dont you dare touch him!" She said in a sharp commanding voice.
"Jace! Clary! " Sabrina yelled running through the door.
"Yes , Sabrina" I called. Alec and Magnus came up behind her and began to laugh.
"They won't stop making dirty jokes!" She complained , they all ran down the stairs and began to laugh except for Sabrina she looked grossed out. Then it was Daniel & Aria that ran down the stairs.
"Damn , i can never have a private convorsatin with anyone" Sebastian complained.
"Sorry Sebastian" Sabrina said walking over to Sebastian.
"It's alright" He said he gave her a little hug. I looked at Joclyn and Luke who were so confused.
" Who are they?" SAbrina asked.
"Your grandparents" I said. I put my head in my hands and felt Clary lightly punch my arm.
"I wanted to tell them , you already told Maryse!" She yelled.
"Well , sorry, It's not my fault she asked a question. I'm not supposed to just ignore it!" I yelled. She laughed and turned to Joclyn who was still confused.
"We're her what?" She asked. I laughed at the face she made. Luke was just standing there looking at Sebastian. Sebastian did kill tones of werewolves from his pack, including Mia's boyfriend Jordan.
"You two are the grandmother and granfather of Sabrina Morgenstern Herondale" Clary stated. A smile grew on Luke and Joclyns face.
"Oh my god!" Joclyn cheered happily. Joclyn and Luke went for another round of hugs and Luke was still in part werewolf from so we was quite strong.
"Luke!" I said.
"sorry" He said letting go of me. He went over to Clary and gave her a tight hug.
Joclyn , Luke , Sebastian, Clary and i sat down at the table as everyone left.
"Sebastian what did you want to talk about?!"I asked.
"Well i wanted to ask if it would be right to meet my 'Mother' " He said quoting with his fingers.
"Whats that suppose to mean?" Joclyn yelled.
"I thought of you as more of a heartless bitch than as a mom." He said. I laughed uncontrolably. I stopped as soon as Clary hit my arm.
"Excuse me!" She exclaimed.
"you said , that you should have killed me when i was a child. What mother would say that. I know i was a monster , i killed and i liked it, i called out to you guys saying i needed help, but you pushed me back and i killed even more. You adore your daughter with Jace right? Their even married now." Sebastian yelled.
"Although , Jace and I are the same person, although he has most angel blood and i have demon blood. We practically grew up together. We both like to kill demons, we both like wepons. I was brought into a world of killing and no equality or love. I grew up not being loved by anyone, i grew up not being cared about, i grew up wanting to be killed by my own mother. Now imagine that being you."He yelled.
"Well isn't that bad. But it's not my fault for what you have become" She growled in a sharp voice.
"It isn't my fault either but you still decide that i shall die instead of teaching me how to love, care, and fight with out having the need to kill. BUT YOU DIDNT!" He yelled. He stood up and slammed his hands on the table.
"Clary and Jace and even your grandchild have learned to forgive me. I couldn't control myself, i was raised to turn out like Valentine, i had no choice." He stated. Joclyn rose from her chair and slowly walked to Sebastian.
"You do not understand how much i would love it if you were still dead!" She siad in a sharp voice.
"MOM!" Clary yelled.
"Thats enough, Sebastian , or Johnathan has learned his mistakes and he knows what he did wrong. He is sorry. no i agree with him. A mother should protect her child no matter the cause. You wanted to kill your first born child just because of what his father did to him. He could've changed, he could've learned. But now it's too late for you to take the credit of a great man he will becom or , has already becom." She added. She slowly rose form her chair and walked out of the room. Joclyn attempted to chase after Clary but Luke stopped her.
"Why and how did you come back?" Luke asked. Sebastian looked at me, i nodded my head and he turned back with confidence.
"Raziel sent me back knowing of my strugle. He made sure that i will be able to live a normal life with no demon blood. If i ever kill anyone aside from a demon. He will bring me back to hell. I have changed. I have realized that some people here" He said not refuring to Joclyne.
"Will accept me as family. I have come back for many reasons that are confidental and you two can not know... Joclyn , if i die , i know that would be a delight in your dreams but just remember your happy that you lost your first born child" He stated. He slowly rose to his feet and walked out of the room. Luke shook his head.
"Jace , Do you agree to this?" Joclyn said.
"Of course i do , Sebastian , or Johnathan , has gone through larger struggles than i have. And both my parents are dead. But they both loved me and i know it. His parents didn't and one of them is still alive but won't accept him as her own. Your my mother in law, but thank the lord your not my mother" I said. I walked out the door with sorrow, we have broken her soul. Things that shouldn't have been said to a mother have been said. She needs to know the truth of what raelity is right now , and she needs to know that a mothers worst wish is for any of her children to die, no matter what happened to them , or what they have done, although Joclyn doesn't care. She just cares for her reputaion.
She needs to change ...
