Chapter 14

"Because I love her," Gajeel confessed looking down. The women gave a pondering look to Gajeel before smiling slowly.

"What is this girl's name?"

"Y/N," He whispered back looking up. Her eyes averted to the others.

"And you? What is she to you?"

"We all love her too, just not the way Gajeel does," Levy responded. Erza nodded and Natsu just stood there with his jaw dropped since Gajeel confessed his feelings. The women closed her eyes and the branches begin to unveil, splitting in half. As they do the bright gold berries come into view.

"Take one, all she has to do is take one bite." Gajeel reaches up gently grabbing one holding it tightly in the palm of his hand.

"Will it be painful?"

"Yes, you might not want to be there when she does take the bite. It will be an agonizing pain but it will heal her completely and forever. She will also grow stronger and have a change of magic, you will know when she uses it. Now go," As she said go her eyes closed and the tree stopped glowing closing them into the darkness of the night yet again. Gajeel smirked holding the berry.

"Alright let's get to the train station, by the time we get there they will be open again," Gajeel announced walking forward. Natsu shook his head.

"You love Y/N!" Gajeel's eyes twitched.

"Would you shut it Pinkie and give us some damn light!" Natsu put his hand up covering it in a flame. Erza stepped forward smiling.

"Oh Gajeel, it is alright to have these feelings. We all knew you liked her,"

"We never thought you loved her though," Gray chuckled. Gajeel's cheeks turned red as they teased him. Lily smirked.

"Gajeel has felt this way towards Y/N for a long time,"

"Lily!" Gajeel growled. "Listen just drop it already would ya! And don't you say one god damn word to her!" He shouted stomping ahead of them. Levy frowned.

"Think we should really not say anything?" Lucy sighed.

"I don't know, Y/N feels the same way I'm sure but if we tell her without him knowing he'll most likely just deny it forever." The team walked for hours till finally hearing the train whistle. They sprinted forward catching the earliest train back to the guild. Once they were all settled each of them fell to a deep sleep until they arrived back home the next morning.

Time Skip

"Y/N get back in your bed now!" Makarov shouted making Y/N groan. She wiped her forehead which was drenched in sweat before sitting at a table.

"I-I said I-I'm fine!"

"Master, what's wrong?" Mira pondered. Porlyusica walked into the room grumbling.

"She is by far the worst patient I've ever had," Y/N stuck out her tongue before stumbling backward. "Y/N's fever is getting worse and she has a very high blood pressure."

"You want me to go back in there you're going to have to make me!" Y/N shouted crossing her arms.

"Y/N L/N!" Makarov shouted.

"I hate it in there!" Mira slammed her tray on the bar shattering each glass on it.

"Y/N would you just cooperate!!" Her voice stretched through the guild creating silence throughout the room.

"Mira,"

"Y/N I get it, I do, but we want to help you so you can live don't you get that?" Tears began to roll down her cheeks. Y/N shook her head.
