Chapter 16

The first day of the Grand Magic Games has come and Fairy Tail was ready to dominate. As each guild walked in being announced glares were thrown at each other. Fairy Tail's Team B and Team A separated going to their own booths. Y/N sat down next to Mira and Cana crossing her legs.

"I don't trust that Raven Tail guild," Cana scoffed.

"I don't think anyone would." Laxus held his usual annoyed look on his face listening to them.

"They're gonna pay for what they did to Wendy that's for sure," He added. Y/N smiled and he gave a slight smirk. Gajeel grumbled slightly watching the two until Y/N stood up walking over to Gajeel and leaned on his shoulder. He smiled wrapping his arm around her waist as they leaned over the balcony watching the first day of the games.

"Every guild will send in one member for our first match!" As each member went up Fairy Tail Team A chose Gray to fight first while Team B was the last to decide.

"Which one of us?"

"I think it should be Y/N," Mira smiled. Y/N shook her head.

"I don't know Mira this is still my first time in the games," Cana wrapped an arm around her shoulders.

"So what you're still a bad ass! And what about you're training? Unless you wasted too much training time smooching with your boyfriend, then I'll go." Y/N glared and elbowed Cana in the stomach making her hunch over and fall back.

"Fine, I'll go," Y/N walked out and the crowd cheered.

"Seems like Team B sent out the ice queen Y/N L/N!" All of the guys whistled as she walked out and Gajeel growled making Mira chuckle. Y/N stood next to Gray and he chuckled. He messed up her hair smirking.

"Ready for your first match?" Y/N pushed his hand.

"Yeah you're not gonna be if you keep touching my hair," The two laughed. Rufus smirked.

"Beating you will be rather easy, having a comrade with you isn't always the smartest tactic." Y/N crossed her arms.

"No one asked for your input," The fighters went to their positions standing until the timer started.  Before suddenly a bunch of clones of each member appeared making everyone raise a brow.

"Every time you are able to find a real member and strike or beat them you get a point! If you're the one that gets hit you will get negative points! Timer starts now!" Y/N rose a brow examining the area but holding her position. Seconds after the timer had started she already sees a few people with negative points hitting the clones. She takes a step forward to look around before seeing Gray walking around the other side. She smiles remembering Gramps promise for the winning team.

"We can have a little fun right?" Y/N says to her self sneaking forward but froze seeing Nalpudding from Raven Tail. Gray smirked hitting him and he fell back making Gray smile until his body disappeared giving him negative points.

"What!?" Gray yelled angry. Before he could do anything the real Nalpudding smirked punching Gray back giving him negative two points. Y/N sprinted forward with a giant ice hammer hitting Nalpudding. He shouted in pain and glared. As he turned around to attack his body disappeared to a different area. Gray got up.

"I didn't need your help,"

"I know," A point showed up next to her picture on the screen. "But I really wanna win after the promise Gramps made," Gray rose a brow till Y/N explained.

"GRAMPS THATS NOT FAIR!!!" Gray shouted at a screen. "It better go for us too if we win!" Makarov nodded. Y/N grumbled.

"Nice going idiot I'm sure everyone heard you," after Y/N spoke carrots came shooting at the two.

"Carrots!?" They shouted in unison and both dodged them. The girl Mermaid Heel popped up with a frown before she flew up from some pant. The two looked behind seeing the member from Bacchus' guild. Soon he was hit taking his point away revealing Lyon.

"I finally found you Gray! My enemy,"

"This ones mine," Gray smirks.

"Not if I get him first!" Y/N smiled. Y/N went to hit Lyon but Gray beat her to it. Right after Nalpudding jumped up.

"Two Fairies at once!" Y/N screamed in pain and so did Gray. Her point disappeared and Laxus grumbled and Mira shook her head.

"Why's that guy only going for Fairy Tail?!" Y/N rubbed her head as her body disappeared and she was in a new area. She growled.

"That stupid purple troll," she got up dusting herself off before freezing.

"Wild!!" The same member from before jumped up down to Y/N. She quickly dodged not getting hit but grabbed his wrists spinning him before slamming his body against a wall. Her eyes averted up to the screen seeing a point go back to her screen and she smirked. His body disappeared making Y/N alone once again. All of a sudden snow appeared making Y/N raise a brow.

"Must be the short blonde from Blue Pegasus," Her eyes landed on the screen seeing that he just three people but Lyon then hit him. She growled. "I gotta get more points, where's that feather hat guy?" Shortly after saying that her body glew and the sky turned dark before a giant star like attack came towards her. She gasped as it hit her. "GAH!!!!!!!" She shrieked in pain. Gajeel growled gripping the balcony in anger. The match ended with Fairy Tail in last and Saber in first.

"Fairy Tail couldn't pull through placing last!" The crowd laughed insulting them making Y/N glare. Gray held his head in shame. Nalpudding tripped Y/N as she walked making her fall forward and the crowd laugh even more. She growled getting to her feet lunging at him with her eyes glowing blue and gold glew from her neck and back.

"You better watch your back in the games!" Her voice was almost demonic until she went back to normal feeling Gray grab her wrist pulling her back.

"If you hit him well get disqualified we're not in a match, save your anger for later we still can win this." Y/N went back to normal glaring walking off until she heard the announcer say something.

"Yajima did you see that glow from the Ice Queen!? Was it a spell of sorts?"

"I'm not sure never seen her do that and I've known Y/N since she was a child," The crowd began to murmur and Y/N rose a brow walking out. She walked back to her booth sad.

"Sorry guys, I should've been more careful."

"It's okay it's the first day we've still got time," Mira smiled.

"Why were ya glowing?"

"I don't know what everyone's talking about!" She shouted angry. Gajeel looked at her neck but saw nothing.

"It was like your neck and back had some emblem and glew.

"I've never seen your eyes do that either," Cana added. Y/N sat down.

"I don't know what's happening to me," Gajeel sat by her.

"We'll figure out later for now we gotta focus on the games." Y/N leaned on his chest as his arm wrapped around her waist pulling her close.
