Chapter Six: Rebel Or What?
Slam!
That was the sound of someone's food tray slammed against the so-called reserved table that was taboo to everyone else. I looked up from my phone only to see guess who?
Yep, none other than that snob from English earlier today. Oh come on, is there no one else I don't know a little more friendly or approachable.
"You gotta stop following me around; look I know I'm attract-"
He scoffed staring at me with those cold grey eyes that are actually really nice. As he pulled out a seat I notice the gasps and whispers it's like this guy is from a mob that kills high school kids. I glared at them giving a few of those blonds the evil eye.
"So, I'm Summ-"
"I heard the first time." He picks at his lasagne that looks really good by the way. Come on Summ try at least to not think about food for once. He pulls out his phone as if saying 'I'm on my phone I don't wanna talk to you' well that's too bad.
"Yeah, well this is the time where you introduce yourself or do you have language difficulties because I knew this guy that..."
He looked at me obviously annoyed. I just want a name is that so hard. He pulled his hoodie down closer over his eyes. No, i thought 'don't do that' but he just bit into his cookie and continued doing whatever he was doing on his phone. Hopefully he doesn't have a girlfriend because we all know that when a guy gets a girl its bye bye to those he will later call 'the others'.
A group of guys that looked like the school's rugby team walked through the cafeteria like they were the shit or something. This is the first school I see that their rugby team gets s different uniform, like really a blazer like they are prefects.
As each of the them walked past, they all nodded their heads towards this snob in front of me. One of taller guys in the group jogs towards us.
"Wassup Chase. Can you tell Brett that I won't make it to practice to-"
"Chace huh?" Finally, this snob is a Chace in a way it kind of suits him. He looks like a Chace I reckon.
He ignored my extraordinary discovery as he turned to face the giraffe. "You have a mouth, fuckin use it. Piss off Will."
"Whatever. Wassup girl?" He dragged the 'wassup' longer than necessary. I looked at him he was so skinny how the heck was he on the rugby team.
"Hey." Not wanting to be rude as it is my first day I faked a smile towards him. He was grinning which I found creepy. Really creepy. Not a nice smile at all. It made me wonder what Chace looked like when he smiled, god that would be a miracle with the facial expressions he's displayed so far.
"Are you new?" I nod trying to finish off my food before lunch is over. "In that case, I'm Will." He extends his hand that is disgustingly long and shakes my mouse-like hand. It lingered longer than necessary so I quickly retracted my hand. He just screams 'I'm a creep' and so I go back to filling my mouth hoping that he will go away.
"If you're not busy, I could show you around I'm sure you're not as familiar with this school ya know." His voice us irritating, he probably only wants to show me that janitors closet so he can attempt to make the moves on me. I know his type and am not falling for that shit.
I nod my head slowly pretending to consider his offer. "Uh, I'm fine. Thanks for the offer though." He looks at me and shakes his head.
"Well your loss. If you change your mind I'm not hard to find." Before he could continue his boys were calling him so he shot me a wink before running off.
