Gerard was born on April 9th 1977
he first began singing publicly in the fourth grade, when he played the role of Peter Pan a school musical production
He is co-founder of the band My Chemical Romance
Gerard's brother Mikey Way became the bassist of My Chemical Romance
Mcr formed in September of 2001 and split in 2013
