Y/N POV

We started to ride over to Ben's house.
Everyone was riding awfully fast that I was barely able to stay with them.
I started to slow down my pace, look at the scenery, y'know?
I mean they're all too busy thinking about history that they wouldn't really notice.

"Y/N HURRY UP, NO TIME TO THINK ABOUT YOUR EXISTENCE!" screamed Richie, he was farther up the road.

I started to ride faster.

We arrived at Ben's house, he dropped his bike and ran inside fast. Probably left his nudie mags out.

We all dropped our bikes and began to head inside.

When Eds dropped his bike, he fell down on top of it.

I ugly laughed at him.

"OH MY GOD WHEEZY! YOU'RE SO FUCKING CLUMSY!"

He  grabbed on to my hand and yanked me down, he caught me off guard I didn't even notice that I fell on top of him.

"Look who's clumsy now."

He pushed me farther down as he got up and ran over to Richie.

They both started talking about Ben's house, new kid on the block. You never know what this kid has up his sleeve.

"I heard he has like a roller coaster, and a pet chimp, and like old guys fucking bones, yeah."

"Richie, darling, monsieur, may I be frank? If this kid was able to afford a roller coaster, he wouldn't have moved to some bumfuck town in Maine. " I replied.

The walls of Ben's room were filled with missing kids posters, newspaper articles, and weird pictures, no sign of a chimp.

"Wow..." Richie gasped.

"Cool, huh?" Ben smiled.

"No, no, nothing cool." Richie looked at one of the walls

"Je pense que c'est cool ... d'une manière meurtrière." I smiled at the chubby boy.

"Merci..." Ben smiled politely.

"Oh this is cool. Wait no, that's not cool." Richie pointed at random things.

"What's that?" Stan was looking up to some paper with writing on it.

"Oh that? That's the charter for Derry township." Ben walked over to him.

"Nerd alert!" I giggled

"No , actually it's really interesting" Ben looked pretty into the story.

"Cool, wait no nevermind" Richie blurted.

"Derry started as a beaver trapping camp," Ben started.

"Still is! Am I right boys?" Richie joked and lifted his hand for a high five.

I shook my head and lowered his hand.

"91 people signed the charter that made Derry."

"But, later that winter they all disappeared without a trace." Ben continued.

"The entire camp?" Eds had a concerned tone.

"There were rumors of Indians but, no sign of an attack."

"Everyone thought it was a plague or something,"

"But, it's like, one day the just woke up and left..."

"The only clue was a trail of bloody clothes leading to the well house." Ben's eyes roamed the pictures.

It is awfully troubling that they'd just disappear one day. Flat out gone. No progression, not even a sign. This story does seem quite familiar though.

Missing without a trace...

No one there to save them if they were in actual danger...

And no one there out of the 91 people to tell their side of the story.

"Jesus, we can go on 'Derry Unsolved Mysteries'!" Richie exclaimed.

"I doubt they haven't already heard this story, Rich." I patted his back.

"I don't know, doesn't all of this make you guys think he's kinda... weird?" Stan whispered to Richie and I.

"Maybe he's just trying to make friends, Stanley." Richie argued.

"Wh-where was the Well House?" Bill's posture got straighter.

"I don't know, somewhere in town I guess, why?" Ben cleaned up a couple piles of papers.

"Isn't the Well House in the house on Neibolt street?" I glanced at a brochure of Derry on Ben's desk.

We all looked at each other.

"SHIT! LOOK AT THE TIME! IT'S ALMOST CURFEW! BYE GUYS!" Eds bolted out the door

"I guess we should leave too, Rich" I suggested.

"Later, Losers!" Richie strutted out the door.

"Au revoir." I waved and followed close behind.
