All of today's classes were already over.

I was waiting for Y/N next to the toilets as usual. I'm presuming she's done with the whole tour thingy by now.

Obviously right?

The school isn't that big, so I feel Y/N is really testing my patience right now.

I checked my phone, already half an hour since the last bell.

She's gotta be playing.

Along with my thoughts I got a message.

Ok, get home soon enough. It was your turn for chores today!!

I put my phone back into my pocket and ran home.

Fuck, as if I care about the house chores...

Once again I got into an empty apartment.
This time though, it felt ten times worse.

I couldn't be bothered with homework, chores whatever fucking else.
I threw myself onto the couch and let all the misery take over.

So this is what Somi warned me about...

I didn't want this... these fucking feelings.
I'm not going to be this goddamn sad about Y/N hanging out with the 'new kid'.

I'll just have someone over myself.
Just a text and settled.

I decided to invite Bae Jinyoung over.
He's one of the really cheerful kids in our class.

I figured he'd be fun to have around.

Daehwi: "How many times do I have to tell you? No, she's just my best friend!"

Jinyoung: "See! Reverse psychology! If you say no, that means yes!"

Daehwi: "What are you talking about? That's not how it works."

Jinyoung: "Yea it is, it's reversed!"

Deahwi: "Ok then what if I said I do like Y/N?"

Jinyoung: "Then you'd still like Y/N."

Daehwi: "So I basically like Y/N either way?"

Jinyoung: "Yea, because you do like her."

Daehwi: "...You're so confusing."

Jinyoung: "It's not me, it's just that love is unpredictable."

Daehwi: "Boi, I don't love Y/N."

Jinyoung: "Daehwi, stop lying."

I ignored him and looked away.

Jinyoung: "Daehwi..."

Daehwi: " Ok yea, whatever I do like Y/N a lot."
