Hey y'all! I've finally gotten past my writers block and my fingers won't give up on me anymore! It's about time. I'm super super sorry for such a late update, my hands wouldn't let me write, literally! But it's nearly the school holidays so I will have heaps of time to write so I'll focus on this story and write as much as I can, but I also want to learn the piano so I'm gonna play that a lot when I get it.

This chapter took a long time to write and yeah it's not very long, actually it's the same length as the others, but I will try my best to lengthen the next chapters.

If I stop uploading and somewhat disappear off of wattpad it's because I have no Internet, but it will mean that I'm writing chapters of this and will upload them when the internet it back on.

So I hope you enjoy this chapter and comment and please vote! <3

Chapter 8

Dawn's POV

I swiftly kicked the ball across the field. The ball smoothly glided across the soft grass, it's speed wasn't decreasing which I was actually surprised about.

It came closer to Alec before he shook his head like coming out from deep thought and reacted instantly. He ran to the ball and put his food in position then swung and hit the ball, making it turn direction and come my way.

I made it come to a stop in front of me and indicated for April, one of the kids, to come and give it a kick. She hesitated at first but came over anyway and looked at the ball.

"All you gotta do is move your foot sideways and aim for the ball," I explain while giving her an example.

I looked up to see Alec's team slowly making their way towards us. I smiled at Alec because I was glad he was giving us some time. This was the kids first game of soccer.

April gave the ball a kick and it went shooting across the field. My eyes widened. Man that kid was good at kicking. It's speed came close to mine, but not as fast, and went around the same distance.

Alec motioned for one of his team mates to come kick the ball. He did the same type of kick as April and went running after it.

In a matter of minutes it became a pretty intense match. I would have turns and so would Alec but we would allow the kids to have a few shots as well. It was currently a tie, both teams have already scored 2 goals

The ball went soaring across the grass, each person was trying to get to it before the other, kicking it to one another in the same team and snatching it off the opposing one. I couldn't help but smile as a team member for my team and one from Alec's were racing after the ball, they would kick the ball out from under one's foot and turn in the opposite direction.

"Whoo!" I shouted as April kicked the ball into the goal the second time.

I ran over to her and picked her up, swinging her around in the air then giving her a gigantic hug.

I heard chuckling behind me so I let April down and turned around.

Alec was standing there with a small smile on his face and laughing quietly to himself. Once he noticed I was glaring at him he shut up and put up a serious mask on, though I could still see some laughter hidden in his gorgeous brown eyes.

"Why are you laughing?" I ask cocking my head to the side.

"You're just so innocent and cute," he replies.

My heart pangs in my chest and my anger starts to boil until I'm about to explode.

"Alright, games over kids," I say through gritted teeth.
