How Can I Tell You - Chapter XIII

Chapter XIII

Daniel, still phanting, found Hyesun pacing up and down at her hotel room, she was sorrounded by couple of people. And when he saw her, He immediately pulled Hyesun into his arms.

'Its alright..its alright....' Daniel said thoughfully.

'Y-You came?.....Youre here...' Hyesun said in disbelief.

Just a while ago, Hyesun's Peach Tree, while being shown at BIFF, had tecnical problems. They tried to fix it and Peach Tree was played for three times but would stop in the same scene where it previously stopped, unti Hyesun decided to discontinue and apologized to the audience. The audience, mostly film students and movie critics from all over Asia, were very understanding though. They know that technical glitches do happen, no matter how prepared you are.

Hyesun was on the verge of tears when she received a call from Daniel. Min An, who usually updates Daniel on Hyesun's activities, when Hyesun is busy, informed Daniel right away when she saw how sad Hyesun was.

'D-Daniel....hey...'

'Hyesun, I know what happened earlier....are you alright?'

'Y-Yeah...dont worry about me...I'll see you when I get back to Seoul okay?' Hyesun wanted to pretend that she was okay. She didnt want Daniel to worry for her.

But Daniel would not seat on it. He knew how upset Hyesun was and he wanted to be there for her. And Daniel drove off from Seoul to Busan to be with Hyesun.

'Everything's gonna be alright...' Daniel wrapped his arms into Hyesun the moment he saw her.

Hyesun burried her face into his shoulder.

Everyone in the room, who seemed to be worrying too, left the room, when they saw Daniel. They knew that Hyesun would feel better now, with him around.

Daniel brought Hyesun into a chair and he pulled Hyesun into his lap. Hyesun curled up and buried her face into Daniel's chest.

'you think so?' Hyesun sounded like a little child.

''OF COURSE!...you know that these things happen Hyesun..its not your fault' Daniel re-assured Hyesun firmly.

'I know..but still...'

'Hey....Min An told me the first few parts of the movie received great reviews!..so there's realy no reason for you to feel down.' Daniel pressed his lips into Hyesun's temple.

'They promised that they would fix it within the day'

'They should or otherwise I'll go kidnap the director to stop her from crying!'

Hyesun laughed. Daniel never fails to make her laugh no matter how down she feels. And she realized that Daniel drove all the way to Busan from Seoul just to be with her today. Hyesun suddenly lifted her head and asked Daniel.

'Did you d-drive?..you came all the way from Seoul to here?' Hyesun couldnt hide how touched she was. Daniel was too good to be true.

'well...I was worried because I was part of the movie too, my fans might go ballistic or something if they dont see me'

'yah!..geez! you are.....' Hyesun wrinkled her forehead and even pointed her finger on Daniel's chest.

'I am....crazy in love with the director....'

Hyesun blushed and quickly stroke her hair. She hates it when Daniel talks like these. Because it would usually make her blush or would make her stutter. And she knows that Daniel enjoys it, seeing her get tense like that.

'You know what..I know one thing that can make you forget what happened earlier...'

'Really?!' Hyesun raised her eyebrows, she had an idea what Daniel was up to.

Daniel smiled at Hyesun, gently tied her hair behind her ears and touched her cheeks softly. He took Hyesun's hand and kissed it. When he's done kissing her hand, he entwined his fingers into Hyesun's..Hyesun gazed at Daniel with full of appreciation.

She brought her arms into his neck. Their eyes locked. And Daniel kissed her.  Hyesun kissed back. The kiss became passionate.

Daniel carried Hyesun into her bed and stared at her while brushing off her hair into her forehead. He kissed the tip of Hyesun's nose.

'Have I told you how beautiful you are?'

Hyesun giggled and answered Daniel 'Everyday!'

'Because you are...too beautiful....I love you Hyesun..'

And they slept in each other's arms that night. Daniel whispered words of love into her ears between kisses the whole night.

Daniel stayed in Busan with Hyesun until the following day. He already sent Hyesun home when he arrived in his flat and decided to twit something.

Daniel looked at his twit again and smiled. He felt sleepy.

He was not able to sleep well last night. Because he woke up couple of times, and watched Hyesun in her sleep.
