Chapter 28-The Past to Know Our Future

Lucy POV

Natsu and I just witness a past that we've never thought was possible both of our mothers had a connection towards each other "I never thought you of all people would be the one person that has such a title known as the Celestial Prince" I said, but Natsu shacked his head. "No Lucy you got it wrong I'm the Fire Dragon Slayer not the Celestial Prince that title belongs to Ray Dragneel, who I know now is my real father" Natsu replied "But you carry his power within you" I exposed as he turned his head away from me with a sad expression. "Natsu why are you sad," I asked as his bangs cover his eyes "Because I...." he was interrupted by two beams of light striking us through our chest and flashed before our eyes, then we ended up at the entrance of the cave. "This is.." I stuttered when my mother taps my shoulder "Learn anything dear" she asked me. "Yeah you were in in this village, and you met Larina in her trapped form, and also I saw you use the Urano Metria spell on her egg, but it only made cracks" I explained as she smiled. "Celestia's power is beyond our expectation as a wizard don't forget she was the one who isolated Larina into that golden egg to seal off Natsu's celestial magic" I gasped as to how she knew that.

The Dragon growled as our bodies lifted themselves up and on to Celestia's back and then she flew into a portal of rainbows and the white light of worms holes from before. Celestia made a quick turn to the left and entered another wormhole "Celestia where are you taking us?" Natsu questioned "To one of the memories of your past" She replied, and then we enter into another time, but the area was different. Natsu and I looked around, and I noticed the people in white fabric cloths with leaves in there hairs "This looks like Roman Era " I subjected

Natsu POV

Celestia landed in the middle of a forest to depart "So what memory is this?" I asked then she pointed to a small village and I also saw two little boys fighting each other "take that metal head" one boy yelled as he punched him. "Metalhead?" I questioned as I took a closer look and it was Gajeel and me as kids "You'll pay, Pyro" he strikes back at the younger me "Ouch I can feel that from here" I stated as Lucy giggled. We walked closer to the kids and noticed a little girl with blue hair and two more boys, one is a blond and the other with black hair and I realized right away that the other three were Wendy, Sting, and Rouge. "This must be the time where all the dragon slayers came together with Anna-sensei," I said and, 'speak of the devil' "Natsu Gajeel are you two fighting again" She walked up to them. "He started it," the two boys said at the same time "Oh you two" Anna smiled. I was expired to see the old past self that I became lost in my thoughts until Lucy snapped me back to reality by saying "Natsu you okay" She said to me as I came back "yeah sorry it's just this brings back memories" I replied. Anna was watching the kids as they were fighting and Wendy tried to break them up "Please stop fighting" She cried, and those tears are what stopped the fight and made Anna-sensei smiled until she hears a noise in the brushes.

Anna-sensei walked towards the noise "I wonder where she is going?" Lucy asked "Come let's follow her" I replied as Lucy and I followed into the woods. She kept walking into the forest but not far enough where she can't see the kids and then she stopped in front a person in a hooded cloak. Lucy and I hid behind a tree "it's very nice to see you again" Anna said as the person dropped the hood over their head "It's been a pleasure to see you too Anna" who replied was none other then my mother and I was shocked. "How is Natsu?" She asked, and Anna replied "He's doing great, he is getting along with the other kids" Larina smiled as grabbed her cloak and started crying "That's wonderful" she cried.

Third Person POV

Natsu and Lucy trembled to Larina's tears "Mom" Natsu whispered as the ghostly form of Larina and Layla appeared before them, and everything froze in time. "This isn't one of my best memories," said Larina as she touched Natsu shoulder and as Layla grabbed her daughter's shoulder "Mom" Lucy whispered. "Say Larina do you think Natsu should know the reason for you and Anna's meeting, it would be easy to show him than to explain to him," Layla said, and Larina nodded. Their bodies started glowing again, and they ended up traveling farther back into the past to where Natsu's parents first meet and even before that. They stopped in the year x363 in front of a giant castle of stone "A Castle?" Natsu and Lucy both questioned "This castle is the home of the Race where my father was the King of Rome Issac Sebastian Race and the pure bloodline of the Golden Eyes" Larina explained. "Your father was the king?" Natsu asked "Yes and he was a restricted man," she said that caught Lucy attention "Just how restricted?" She asked as Larina turned her head towards the young blonde with anger and yet saddest in her eyes. "Very Restricted, For the longest time I wasn't allowed to do want I want, or when I wanted, I wasn't even allowed to love anyone but my Siblings," Larina said "Oh I see" Lucy replied.

Natsu noticed the saddest in Lucy's eyes as if he seen that expression before "Lucy" he called her "Don't be sad about this okay" her eyes widen "But how can I not be.." She was interrupted by him "Remember this was all in the past, Don't spread the tears yet until you heard the whole story" he replied as she noticed his fist was popping veins while smiling. "Natsu," She said as she wiped away the tears "I'm sorry your right I'll save the tears until after the story. Layla smiled as Larina grabbed Natsu wrist and dragged him into the castle leaving Lucy and Layla behind. "Hey wait a minute" Lucy yelled, but Layla touched her shoulder and said "Don't worry about them this is a the moment where those two need to connect once again" Lucy gasped as Layla smiled at her "Connect? Oh, I see" Lucy replied "You and I must also connect," Layla said as she grabbed her daughter's hand and brought her to Celestia. "Are you ready for another jumped?" She asked, and Layla nodded "Lucy, there is one more memory I want to show you inside the other portal," she said as her daughter was confused. "But what about Natsu and Larina are we going to leave them behind," Lucy asked "No one is leaving anyone I promise you my dear" Layla reached out her hand "You two will be together again. Lucy reached out her hand to her mother and jumped onto Celestia's back once, and they flew off into the rainbow stream. Lucy was looking back as the portal was closing behind them and they flew into another portal were they at the same time but a different place "Welcome to x363 Fiore, Magnolia my dear Lucy" Layla spoke, and Lucy gasped.
