Here we were in the year x365 where Anna my great-great-grandmother, the one person who created the eclipse gate and send the dragon slayers four-hundred years into the future with Zeref's magic. "I can see Anna down there with Zeref" I pointed out from above the clouds. " Yes as you may already know Zeref is the mastermind behind the four-hundred-year plan, and you know the reason why?" she asked me "Yes it's to stop the King of the Dragons and also to hope that his little brother would kill him one day" I responded. "But there is more, Zeref intended to die. But Lucy, do you ever wonder why he sends his most powerful demon of the book of Zeref as a dragon slayer" She questioned me as I swung my head back and forth. "Because those were what he wish for" my mother replied and then I asked her "Who's wish?" she tilted her head and smiled. Layla didn't respond to my question she just smiled at me, and then she pointed to the sky, and as I looked up I saw not one, but two dragons and one looked familiar "Igneel?" I responded. The two dragons landed next to Anna and Zeref.
"Greeting human friends, I assumed the gate had been prepared" I heard Igneel's voice "Not quite there are still some materials we lack" Anna suggested to him "Oh and what that might be?" Another dragon asked her "What we lack the celestial magic, The gate itself completed, but without some source of power there is no way to open it" Zeref said, "So how do you intend to get this power?" Igneel asked "I thought of that and I came to a solution, as I was building that gate, from the ground up I've used my magical force to help with the constructions" Anna spoke "Oh wow really she was giving her magic to the gate, itself," I said. "The door you see here known as the Eclipse gate requires strong celestial magic from spirits of another realm they are known as the Zodiacs" She suggested. I was shocked to those words, and she explained to the dragon how to obtained the Zodiacs by created keys to summon from there world "Created the keys?" I questioned "Yes each gold key was handmade by a specialist" Layla answered "A Specialist?" I asked "Yes, but according to Anna the keys that they require does take time to prepare" She answered me again.
This had me thinking for a while, according to what mother said Anna required a specialist to create the keys "Hey mom, The specialist? Just who is it?" I asked " It was an old friend of Anna, a celestial wizard just like you and I" she replied "An old friend?" I asked "That's right and you should know her by now or should I say her descendants" I gasped in confusion as she reached her hand to me. "Come I show you," she said to me as I reached my hand to her and jumped from Celestia's back and slowly flowed to the bottom to where Anna, Zeref, and the Dragons were having a conversation. Luckily they couldn't see us in our ghostly form and then I saw a woman with long white and a brown eyes walked up to them. I looked closer at the woman, and to my eyes, she looked familiar "Yukino?" I suggested as my eyes widen "Not quite" my mother said "Listen" she whispered in my ear. "Yuko, I'm so glad you made it, so any progress?" she asked her. "I'm sorry, but I need more time," Yuko asked, "More time, what for?" Anna questioned. "The keys I've crafted would not connect to the spirits from the Celestial realm. No matter how hard I tried only one worked, and that is the key to the thirteenth gate Ophiuchus, all of the others, are useless" Yuko explanation widen Anna's eyes "Are you serious, you can't summon them" Anna said as Yuko shaken her head. "It as seems that my magic isn't strong enough to make a connection" she suggested, but that explanation made me confused "I understand, Yuko is Yukino's ancestor that created the golden key in the first place and not only that she's having a hard time summon them," I asked. "That's not the problem at hand" I turned towards my mother and explained to me about the situation "Even if they found a way to get the keys to work neither Yuko or Anna could summon even one of them at least not in this time period," My mother told me. I was thoroughly skeptical about all this "Mother I have to asked how do you know so must when you never came from this time period" I asked as a book appeared in her hand "This book contains all the information about the eclipse gate, Zeref and more this is Anna's dairy" she replied.
I stared at the book for a while "Do you wish to read it" she asked as I nodded saying yes "but first there is another time I must take you" she grabbed my hand and before I knew it time was speeding up around us it almost likje you holding the fast-forward button. The time has finally stopped to the year x776 at my old home in the Heartfilia mansion I saw my mother reading the book she showed me earlier. "Mother" I called out to her as she handed me the book "You may now read from the beginning to the end" I grabbed from the book from her and started reading. My mother in the past was working hard to open the gate and in search for the golden keys that have been spread out across the world and the ones she had given to her three servants and one of them was Gimmie who was Brandish's mother. After a while, I read through the dairy and noticed Natsu's name was in her book and started blushing. "Something the matter dear," she asked me "No it's nothing" my face turned red, and as I was skimming through the pages I saw a drawing of a boy looking up at the stars, and my cheeks blushed once more as if I recognize this from somewhere. My mother became concerned as I was silent to the drawing I see in front of me and then all of sudden a flashback came to me.
