Heey! Vacations come and vacations go, so now that school's back I'll have less time to post stuff (but then, it's not like I was posting something every day...). Nevertheless, school will never ever stop me from working on Eurovision stuff - it's quite the opposite, actually ^^" So yeah, I wanted to share my rankings of every NF comming up this week - and I'll do my homework later :')

Eesti Laul 2018 | ESTONIA

10. Evestus – Welcome To My World --> I'm still wondering how on earth this one qualified, but yeah...

9. Eliis Pärna ja Gerli Padar – Sky --> This should have been called Lullaby, seriously...

8. Stig Rästa – Home --> Not a fan, especially not after what we had in 2015

7. Karl-Kristjan & Karl Killing (ft. WATEVA) – Young --> Meh

6. Sibyl Vane – Thousand Words --> The melody is good. But I can't stand her voice and the lyrics are... weird?

5. Nika – Knock Knock --> This grew on me. A lot. I especially love the "happy tomorrow" parts - but still can't stand the "I'm done, done, done, done". Too bad that her voice isn't amaeing live :/

4. Frankie Animal – (Can't Keep Calling) Misty --> This is fine. Not a winner, but enjoyable.

3. Elina Nechayeva – La Forza --> I still don't like the studio version, but live, her voice feels... different? And in a very good way, it really brings the song to life, especially when highlited by the beautiful staging that she served us. Good luck in Lisbon, Elina!

2. Iiris & Agoh – Drop That Boogie

1. Vajé – Laura (Walk With Me) --> As we already know who's going to win, I just wanted to put my favorite - judging by the studio version - first. Because if I had to include the live performance into my ratings, this wouldn't be first.

UMK 2018 | FINLAND

Easily the best selection so far, as all three songs are awesome! :D

3. Domino --> Probably the most generic and forgettable of the bunch.

2. Queens --> Not a huge fan of the lyrics but why not ^^

1. Monsters --> If the staging is as awesome as the song, this will become my new first, simply because Finland has chances of winning this year when Ukraine doesn't.

Söngvakeppnin 2018 | ICELAND

6. Ari Ólafsson – Our choice --> I can't even remember the melody after all this time °°

5. Dagur Sigurðarson – Saviours --> Amazing voice for dull song. That's a waste...

4. Heimilistónar – Kúst og fæjó --> The live was fun, but it's not a winner.

3. FÓKUS hópurinn – Battleline --> Yeaaaaaah no.

2. ÁTTAN – Here with you --> KEEP IT IN ICELANDIC FOR GOD'S SAKE! D8 I like this song and dislike it at the same time; I still have this feeling that something's missing...

1. Aron Hannes – Gold digger --> A bit cheap, but who doesn't like fast food? :D

Krajowe Eliminacje 2018 | POLAND

(I just love writing this "2018" everywhere xD)

10. Pablosson – Sunflower --> Just... What is this?

9. Future Folk – Krakowiacy i górale --> Look, I love slavic folk, but this is no.

8. Monika Urlik – Momentum --> Generic, boring, forgettable. Next!

7. Ifi Ude – Love is Stronger --> This song is so repetitive that it gets boring. And it's really sad because the song has some potential, if we forget about the cliché lyrics.

6. Marta Galuszewska – Why Don't We Go --> A bit too generic, and I still can't remember the melody.

5. Maja Hyzy – Skin --> It's generic too, but at least it's memorable.

4. Happy Prince – Don't Let Go --> I just love the athmosphere this song creates, lifted by the beautiful voice of the singer. Besides, I really like the name "Happy Prince" :)

3. Saszan – Nie chce ciebie mniej --> I don't see this at Eurovision, but this is perfect for casual listening!

2. Isabell Otrebus – Delirium --> This one even sounds bad when you listen to my number one :'D I was never a huuuuge fan of this one anyway, so I'm glad there's better.

[Huge gap]

1. Gromee feat. Lukas Meijer – Light Me Up --> I'm a very big fan of this kind of songs, but it took me some time to start liking it, nonetheless. I don't even know why, to be honest. Maybe it's just that I'm not a fan of the way Lukas overpronouces the word "baby" in the chorus - I always cringe a little when I hear it in songs, therefore I cringe even more when it's emphasised  :') But hey, if Poland sends them to Eurovision, they may end up in my top 3, depending on how good their staging and live vocals are.

1 In 360 | SAN MARINO

I can't make a top, I'm sorry. I just don't have a winner, and I don't see any song that would really deserve to win. However, I can't just leave you without something, so I'll just put the different songs into boxes, without a particular order.

What I just can't see winning:

• Camilla North - Yo No Soy Tu Chica --> STOP. WITH. SPANISH. Thank you.

• Giovanni Montalbano - Per quello che mi da --> I almost fell asleep. Never a good sign.

Why not?:

• Franklin Calleja, Judah Gavra, Sebastian Schmidt - Stay --> All of them have a beautiful voice, and all of them make the song quite enjoyable each in their own way, but this song is just too boring ro win. It's a waste though, because the verses were really good.

• Tinashe Makura - Free Yourself --> It's fun! :D

• Sara de Blue - Out of the Twilight --> Another amazing voice wasted by a forgettable song...

• Jessika feat. IROL - Who We Are --> The transition between his and her parts are so bad it hurts... The rap verses are really good but Jessika's parts are just meh.

Best of the bunch:

• Jenifer Brening - Until the Morning Light --> This one might be my fave actually.

• Emma Sandström - Diamonds --> Her voice is as weak as the chorus :')

• IROL feat. Basti - Sorry --> This one's a bit better than Who We Are. A very little bit.

No final for San Marino this year as well, I'm afraid... :/

Look people. I know I said I'd do every national final that takes place this week. But how do you want me to rank Portugal's songs when they all sound the same? They are extremely lucky that they are hosting this year cause they would have never qualified otherwise :')
