Imagine getting the help of Marco, Thatch and Ace to go see the fireworks with Izo
"Do you think it will work Marco?" you asked your friend.
"Was I ever wrong y/n?" he smiled assuring you.
You were in your roomtalking with Marco, Thatch and Ace and the argument was Izo. You've had a crush on that geisha-like man for quite a few months and all of that began when Whitebeard accepted you on board when you were found badly injured... and for all that time Izo was nice to you and probably was the only one who understood you and for that you saw him as a really good friend until you found yourself being attracted to him; he was really a good-looking guy indeed even when he always dressed with kimono and had make-up.
And that day you were talking with your other three friends to ask their help to arrange something for you. In those last days you tried everything to ask Izo to go out with you but his response was either a gently rejection because he was busy with some kind of tasks or going out with you but along with Ace or someone else; and so you were there in your room asking for suggestions more over to Marco who was the only one serious of the trio.
"We will make it work for you" Ace told you but for almost whatever he said you never trusted him fully.
"The last time we trusted you, Ace, we got beaten" Thatch told him and everyone agreed with the cook.
"You just go to Izo and ask him to help you with the dress and we will arrange the rest" Marco assured you again.
"Please help me guys" you begged them and Thatch grabbed your hands.
"If you ever try to do something stupid to ruin the date, Ace, I promise you I will beat you to a pulp and then throw you in the ocean" you threatened him with a glare and at that threat the fire boy nodded at you feeling scared.
At that you went out and only a moment later you found yourself at his door.
You felt hesitant to knock so you leaned on the door to hear if Izo was actually inside and he was; so you found a bit of courage and you knocked.
"I-It's me y/n, Izo".
Hearing your voice he came and opened the door to let you in and you noticed he was organising his kimono that were on his bed.
"Need something?".
"Y-yes. I came here if you could help me with something" you asked him shy.
"Sure. How can I help you?".
"I'm in need of a kimono to go out this evening" you admitted.
"Oh... I see... you will go out to see the fireworks?".
You nodded.
You spent some time looking at the kimonos and trying them until you tried a red one.
"You look really pretty with this" he told you; and when you looked at yourself in a mirror he was right. That red kimono with cherry blossoms and that black sash with white flowers and a cord around you really were dainty as Izo told you.
And after wearing it he helped you also arranging your hair and making you beautiful with some make-up.
And when everything finished it was already evening and time to go out.

You had been walking for long time in the city looking around shops just to kill time before the event and you were about not to feel your feet any more so you decided to sit on a bench to wait for the others to come. However it passed so much time than expected that you began to worry they wouldn't come with Izo and for that you started to feel down.
"It was all for nothing" you told yourself letting a tear. "This only means one thing that is Izo doesn't like me".
In this way you began heading back to the ship with your head down and you were lost in your thoughts when you bumped into someone without even realising.
"I-I am sorry" you mumbled and when you raised your eyes you found in front of you Izo and when you looked at him you immediately wiped away the tears. You didn't want him to look at you in that condition, but he did.
"Did something happen?" he looked concerned.
"No, nothing" but another tear came down your cheek.
"We should head back if you aren't feeling well" he told you as he grabbed your hand to lead the way.
"NO!" you shouted at him remaining still on your spot and he looked at you confused. "Please... stay with me" you begged him.
"Okay as you want. There's no need to shout" he smiled and as he gently took your hand you apologised for what you just did.
"What do you want to do?".
"Watch the firework with you" you told him and in that way you approached the beach where everyone was.
Both of you were on the sand and were waiting like the others for the fireworks.
"So... this is the reason why Marco, Thatch and Ace drag me out the ship?" he curiously asked you.
"Y-yes" you were blushing for embarrassment.
"You didn't have to do like that. If you had asked me I would have gladly accepted to accompany you" he smiled and you became redder than before.
"I thought you wouldn't accept" you whispered.
"This is why you were crying before? Were you scared that I wouldn't come?".
You hid your face for embarrassment. "I'm terribly sorry".
"There's no need to apologise" he assured you taking your hands in his and raised your chin to make you look at him. He smiled at you while adjusting some hair behind your ear and that made your heart fluttered.
"I... I like you" you declared with a soft voice looking into his eyes and when you realized you finally told him you covered your face; you felt so embarrassed in that moment.
"There's no need to be flustered".
"I know this is so stupid... I know you don-".
You didn't have even the time to finish the sentence that Izo pulled you into a kiss.
"I don't like you, that's right; I love you and this is better" he confessed you and you giggled in his soft and endearing kiss.
And the only one thing that stopped you from kissing any more was the explosion of the first fireworks in the air. At that sign you parted and both of you looked up into the sky and admired that show of wonderful coloured fireworks... and you were in your lover's arms and you never felt so happy in your life.
Without even realising all of a sudden you felt again Izo's lips but this time on your shoulder (he was hugging you from behind) and you left out a giggle.
"Your giggle is cute"he laughed a bit.
"Please Izo... there are people around" you told him and he kissed another time on your lips.
"God I love you so much".
You went all red and for shyness you hid your face in his chest hugging him.
"I love you too Izo" you smiled.
And when you began to feel cold because of the night breeze Izo made the way for you to go back to the ship to spend some other time with you... being only with you, his lover.
