Jason's pov
I dread when Sam gets out of school. That's when we'll do the ghost thing. I really don't want her to do this at all. In the meantime, I took Mason and Max to get ice cream. I need something to get this off my mind. "Hey Daddy, who's that guy looking at us?" Mason asks pointing. I look up, confused and my heart almost pounds out of my chest. Mason is seeing ghosts too?!! I try to take a deep breath and stand up. I know little kids can see them. Hopefully they'll grow out of it. Unlike Sam. I get them in my truck and head home.
*A few hours later*
I was waiting in the front yard when Sam got home from school. "Ready?" "I was born ready." She says smiling. I smile too but inside I'm scared. I don't want her to go through what I go through on a daily basis. I decide to find the guy at the ice cream shop. "Mason saw a ghost today too." I say nervously, parking. "Why is seeing ghosts such a bad thing to you?" I sigh. "It's not the seeing ghosts I don't like. It's everything else that comes with it." That creepy guy flashes through my mind. I shake off the nerves. "Show me what you can do, Sam."
