Jason's pov
The boys had a cub scout meeting so I took them to the lodge. I smiled watching them recite the cub scout pledge. God they're wonderful kids. Miranda calls. "H-Hey Jason. I'm going to the cemetery. It's Rachel's anniversary." Oh man. How could I forget?! "Hold on honey. Don't go without me. The boys are almost done with their meeting." I know she hates going alone. "Ok." Phew. "I love ya baby." "I love you too, Jase." I get off the phone and wait for the meeting to be over. Luckily it doesn't take long. I get back home and Sam watched the kids while we go to the cemetery. "It's been so long." She says. "I still hear her laugh." I hug her. "Honey I can't even begin to tell you how happy she is." She smiles. "I know. It must be amazing isn't it? I mean you've seen it!" Huh? "I haven't seen it!" I say surprised. "You haven't? But the ghosts-" "That's all I can see honey. Not where they go." "Then how do you know it's good?" I force a smile and pat her back. "Because I saw the look on her face and Mason's when it happened. Trust me." "I do. It's just-" "I know. It's hard." I say hugging her. Looking behind her, I saw a woman, a redhead standing in front of a grave. I could tell though. She wasn't alive. I sigh. A cowboy's work is never done. I start to walk over but she disappears before I get there. Crud. I look at the grave she was looking at. I'm caught off guard. The inscription says, "Here lies Alicia Frottingham. She's just wondering what she did." Who wrote that?! And why?! "What's wrong, Jason?" I don't know. I shake my head. "Nothing." Suddenly the words changed. The same name but it says instead, "Loving mother wife and grandmother." There's something significant about the inscription I read first.
