Chapter 7

The pair of pegasai ponies ran as fast as their hooves could carry them, but then, Rainbow Blitz tripped, and fell halfway across the parapet on a flagstone. Rainbow Dash didn't see him trip, so she ran off. As Rainbow Blitz recovered from his fall, he realized that the sword he was carrying earlier was gone. He looked around, and then, looked down at the ditch aside the parapet. When he heard the sound of pony henchmen coming towards him, he flew into the ditch, and picked the sword up. He then crawled underneath one of the arches of the parapet. The pony henchmen passed over him without seeing him. When they left, Rainbow Blitz flew to the top of the parapet, and looked around for Rainbow Dash as he said "Princess! Princess Rainbow Dash!" He turned around the corner, and ran into one of the pony henchmen who said "Pig-colt! You little foal!" With a single blow with his hoof, the pony henchman sent Rainbow Blitz sprawling. The pony henchman then took his axe, and swung at Rainbow Blitz who dodged it in a nick of time.

Rainbow Blitz quickly got up on his hooves as the pony henchman pulled his axe free of the beam, and he brought his axe down as Rainbow Blitz held up his sword in defense. There was a bright light as the weapons clashed. The pony henchman's axe shattered into a million pieces as he gasped in shock. Frightened, he backed away, and ran off. When Rainbow Blitz realized that the sword is magic, he laughed with glee, and swung his sword around. Suddenly, Rainbow Dash walked in, and stared at Rainbow Blitz as if he had gone crazy as she said "Are you all right?" Rainbow Blitz turned to see Rainbow Dash, and sighed with relief as he said "Oh, good! You're safe!" "Why, of course, I-!" Rainbow Dash tried to say, but Rainbow Blitz grabbed her, and said "Come on! I'm going to get you out of here!" He pulled on her as they ran, and Rainbow Dash screamed. The pony henchmen ran towards them as one of them said "There they are!" Rainbow Blitz pulled Rainbow Dash up a flight of stairs with the pony henchmen close behind them as Rainbow Blitz said "Quick! Up here!" Rainbow Dash screamed as she saw more pony henchmen coming at them with weapons. Rainbow Blitz took his sword, and swung at them. There was a burst of light, and the sword shattered the weapons, and sent the pony henchmen flying, and crashing into each other as Rainbow Dash stared at the sword in awe, and said "Rainbow Blitz, the sword!"

Just then, Rainbow Blitz and Rainbow Dash heard a voice that said "Sweet Celestia!" They looked up to see Cranky Doodle Donkey running away from a guard dog as he said "Help! Murder! Get down!" Rainbow Blitz and Rainbow Dash went into a store room filled with barrels of apple cider, and Rainbow Blitz stopped as he said "Keep going, princess!" As Rainbow Dash ran off, Rainbow Blitz took his sword, and splited the barrels open. He then ran off to catch up with Rainbow Dash as Snips appeared, and said "There they are!" Rainbow Blitz and Rainbow Dash ran to the drawbridge, but then realized that they were trapped. "Come on! Get them!" Snips said as he and the pony henchmen chrarged towards them." "Oh no!" Rainbow Dash said in fear. "Rainbow Blitz!" Snips laughed, and said "We've got you now, pig-colt!" "Ah! Rainbow Blitz! Do something! Use the sword!" Rainbow Dash said as one of the pony henchmen threw an axe at her, and it missed her by an inch. Rainbow Blitz who was dodging the spears thrown at him took his sword, and sliced the chain holding the drawbridge, lowering it down in the process as Snips and the pony henchmen backed away in fear. They then ran off as Cranky Doodle Donkey followed them while being chased by the guard dog, and said "Make way! Make way! Step aside! I've never hurt you! Get-Get out of my way!! Let me down, you brute!" "Run, princess, run!" Rainbow Blitz said as they ran. "Why didn't you tell me you had a magic sword?" Cranky Doodle asked.
